They make aftermarket faceplates that can take care of those scratches.
Yeah, I'm gonna get a new one because I never had one, but I'm still stuck on whether to get the white or the silver, although I amleaning more towards the silver because it's a better value, uhhh I don't know!!!
The only way i'd get it probably (Knowing myself I always can't stop myself getting new systems) but if gamestop has one of those offers where you can trade in your old system and like a game and get the new one for a cheap price.
no i'm not i got 1 already that works perfectly fine and theres no reason to buy 1 that plays on TV your supposed to buy a PS PORTABLE so that it will be portable not so that you can sit in your living room and play your games on your TV that made something for that its called a PS2. If sony wants to convince people to buy a new psp they need to add better features.
maybe I'll got it, depends of how much money will i have by then, just because I want the damn TV Output wich should have been in the older model or on a FW update

The TV thing is just an added feature for people who want to play those PSP exclusive games (I'm talking about the people with taste, here. :P Games like Tales of the World, or Brave Story, or Riviera, or the RPGs in general.) Supposedly it fixes some issues the original PSP has. Whether or not I'm buying depends on what games I decide to get for me birfday. If the cost of those games totals to be less than 180, then I'll trade in my current PSP and get a new one.
Waste of money if you have your original PSP. However, I encourage those who haven't got one to pick it up (most likely better than the old one in terms of features).
I had planned to but after looking at everyone elses response now I'm not so sure. I'll probably still get it just not as soon as I had originally thought. Also I'd like to see it in person and maybe hold it before I decide
I am getting one because I don't have a psp at all but if I had one already then I would not get the new one. I had a psp a few months (more like a year) and well there weren't that many great games so I sold it and I bought a DS lite.. now that new better games are out for the PSP and games like God of War are coming out for it I'm definitely going to pick one up.
Eventually just because the new games that are coming out are going to load faster because of the 64mb ram increase. But mostly do to the video out feature. But I'm going to see it in person first before I even decide it's worth the purchase since I already have one. Trading it in is not an option for me since I replaced the faceplate with a red one...
I have one of the old PSP's and I'm still getting one(silver). I'm giving my sister my old PSP so we can play games together.Krazy-K

As for the question, at first I was like "no way", but then I remembered all the other redesigned stuff I've gotten in the past while already having the original version: PsOne, Gameboy Advance, PS2 (I've still got two of those). So maybe I will break down and get a Slimline PsP, but just not right away. We'll see.
