I am more happy with my PS4 then I am with my Wii U, Xbox One and Windows 8. X3

Neither of those answers, I´m not entirely happy but not unhappy. There are several things I don´t like:
There are also several things I like about it, but to be honest I like my PS3 Slim a lot more than my PS4.

If you're having that many issues with your controller, get a new one. No reason to keep going through the hassle of going to a repair shop. They updated the controllers anyway. More durable triggers, better analog sticks, more of a matte material on the controller.
You can swap out the shiny part, with another cover. They cost anywhere from $10-$20.
I own both the PS4 and Xbox One. I like both consoles but I play my PS4 wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more. Maybe because more of my friends are on there? I'm not sure. Whenever I try to decide which console to get a new game for I always choose PS4. I play Xbox for Halo mainly but other than that not too much.
I'm 50/50 on the PS4 thus far. The hardware is great....but the games aren't quite there yet, in my opinion. There are some epics like Witcher 3, but then i look at Arkham Knight compared to Arkham City. It's got big games, but big games don't mean fun/entertaining games. Or the PSN network of games with PS3, and how lackluster the PS4 PSN is. Personally i play my Wii U than the PS4... but i hope that changes soon.
Yeah, but I've just recently started giving it more attention! Before Christmas, I was mainly on my 360 and PS3! I was able to take advantage of alot games that where on sale over the holidays...MGS5, Mad Max, Witcher 3 and a few of the flash sales on the PSN.
Even though I'm very happy with my PS4, I'm still looking forward to getting the XB1 eventually.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how anyone could say the PS4 still has no games. In the first year, sure, but now? Come on. If you think the PS4 has no games, then move to PC. More games and different genres I guess. Or maybe find a different thing to do. But please, don't go around saying the PS4 has no games, because the truth of the matter is, it has tons of games and something for everyone.
@battlestreak:
Maybe I didn't mean there are no games... But so far the ps4, hasn't grabbed my attention enough. I think it's a fair argument that games like batman, mortal kombat, and infamous were better on previous generations. So far the ps4 hasn't released a new God of war or uncharted for ps4, which is arguably their 2 biggest franchises. I think it's fair to say the ps4 lacks good platformers. I'm not really a pc gamer, I'm more into the wii u. I'll take Mario maker and splatoon over any ps4 games. But again my favs are uncharted, gow, infamous, and rockstar games... So still waiting for some awesome ps4 experiences.
Overall, yes. But I'm not happy that its library is flooded with remasters. It's too early to say how it will stack up to the PS3's library in the long run, but I definitely love its technical improvements. The menus are fluid, games run better, and while not as significant as the previous generation's jump, they look better too. The "Share" button is easily my favorite addition. I don't care so much about the sharing aspect of it, I just really enjoy taking screenshots and video clips.
Yes its a great console. It has solid hardware, great variety of games, a killer 2016 lineup, good UI, good community features, shareplay is godly, excellent controller although poor battery life, solid online stability for me
@The-Butcher248: Infamous Second Son, and First Light released. Uncharted 4 is releasing soon, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. As for God of War, sorry, you may be out of luck unfortunately.
Basically, the PS4 does have games. The system has tons of games, especially if you're interested in buying some smaller indie titles from the PS Store.
I always wait about a year after release to purchase my consoles. Its hard lol but i can count on the bf to get his day one haha. Im glad i waited, mine console is completely matte, no shiny easily scratched area. My controller is matte, newer analogs, and hopefully less trigger sensitive. My old red controller was shiny with dif analog material. I love my ps4 and it just seems better overall than launch ones.
Some good games like bloodborne, disgaea 5, etc etc ride my games list.
2016 is the year the ps4 shines with over 20 true exclusives.
Yeah I don't mind it... it's basically my backup console. It's just an exclusives machine.
I still prefer XB1 overall.
I said no but what I mean is yes/no. It's an ok console so far, MGS V was good but nothing special, Mad Max has been throwaway fun and the uncharted remasters are decent but with the added need to pay for PS Plus, you're essentially getting a watered down product.
I am happy with the PlayStation 4. I bought my PS4 at launch and have 30 Games for it. Sony has done a great job with the PS4
It's a great system. Say what you will for this generation's first year but I personally think it had one of the best first years of any system launch with games to match nearly anyone's taste.
Then given the onslaught of incredible games coming, PS4 has a shot at becoming my favorite system of all time.
the hard drive size is tiny, the lack of an easy swap out replacement system for a hd is a poor design decision, the noise the thing makes in certain games sounds like its going to take off and fly away, the miserable battery life of the controller and the short charging cable suck and the ui and lack of customisation is typical of sony and their lack of ux understanding.
but i do still really like it. the upcoming exclusives look very promising. i'm happy i went with sony and not ms this gen
The console is fine, I just think there's an extreme lack of interesting exclusives and games. My girlfriend wanted me to buy a PS4 with her (each spending half) but I couldn't do it. It's just not worth the money compared to building a home theater PC.
I wish there was backward compatibility because my PS3 is about to crap out and I rather play my games on the PS4.
I had PS4 on launch but went to Xbox One for a while due to friends urging me to. I just came back to PS4 because I like the system much better. I only have one gripe the 500gb HD fills up very fast. I think I will upgrade to 2tb.

Yeah, definitely get a 2TB hard drive. Definitely worth it.
i am happy with my PS4 but i had to upgrade the HD im currently thinking about getting the nyko data bank even though nyko doesnt have a great rep for things
I would recommend not getting the Nyko Data Bank. Heard and seen bad things about it. Didn't work for my friend.
I still feel the Wii U is leagues ahead in terms of quality titles, but the PS4 is starting to gain steam with Bloodborne, Street Fighter V, and Dark Souls 3 next month. I hope Horizon delivers, because it looks fantastic too.
Between my Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Wii U, I play the PS4 a ton more than the others. I am very satisfied with it.
My current games list is as follows:
MGS5: The Phantom Pain
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Need for Speed
Fallout 4
NHL 16
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
Bloodborne
Batman: Arkham Knight
Dragon Age: Inquisition
NHL 15
Rainbow Six: Siege
Firewatch
P.T.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series
DriveClub
Rocket League
Transistor
EA Sports UFC
Journey
Some of the other downloadable ones that were free.
I used to have others like Destiny, Dying Light, and Shadow of Mordor but I traded them in. I do have a huge problem with buying new games before I finish others then never going back to older ones. I definitely don't have the time to play all these games like I used to, either...
I'd say that Rocket League takes up most of my time. It takes up a lot of my time actually, compared to other games. One of the reasons for that is probably because it's an easy pick up and play kind of game with 5 minute matches, so it's easier to get into than the other ones where I basically only play on weekends.
I bought my PS4 because I was super satisfied with my PS2 and PS3, and I love the Playstation exclusives. I'm still waiting on Final Fantasy 15, which is one of the reasons I bought a PS3, and waiting on The Last Guardian since Shadow of the Colossus is probably my favourite game ever. There's a lot of games I'm waiting for. Uncharted is obvious, and whenever The Last of Us sequel is....and....a lot more but I'll end this post here because you get the point.

Is it very hard to switch out the HDD? Every time I get a new game, I have to uninstall one these days.

it's not hard at all, after installing the new drive you have to install the PS4 software from a USB and that's it, you can google it it's pretty easy, but actually I wouldn't recommend you to switch only if you a really hardcore gamer who plays 7-8 or more games at the same. for simple user 500GB is quite enough.

Yeah, basically I need a bigger one. I'm sick of this uninstalling BS.
I have little to no complaint, I' am little bugged that we have so many remasters but I understand it's for the new folks who didn't play those games on the PS3. it would had been nice to have larger Hard Drive (which I upgraded), otherwise - it's a great console. Proud first day adopter. ;P
Sure. It's a good system. Is it perfect? No, but Sony did a great job with it. Although at this point a 1TB HDD should be standard.
@Epak_: I agree, other then Little Big Planet, which is awesome, my family cuddles up to our 3DS' handhelds for co-op friendly time. I'm still contemplating purchasing Wii U since it does have few great games we would love to play but with the NX news so close (E3), I am willing to wait to find out if it's backwards compatible with the Wii U and when is it getting released. Hopefully this year.
I hate this entire gen. The PS4 compared to the PS3 feels like the new 3DS compare to the last one.
I wanted this gen to be at least as powerful as my notebook -.-'
That aside, most of the exclusives were a disappointment with a few exceptions.
multi-plats usually play better on PC any way, so this keeps my Ps4 in a pretty weak positin this gen.
I love my PS4, except for the batteries on my controllers barely last 1 hour. I miss the good old ps3 controllers.
@crazy_neal0707: Something is probably wrong with your controller my friend. My usual full charge last around 5-6 hours before I need to recharge it. Which is still no where as good as my old PS3 battery life however 1 hour is definitely defective problem.
I'm disappointed, but mainly because I play on all the platforms. The PS4 has very long waits between games that I don't have access to on something else for usually cheaper, and better quality.
It's no PS1 or 2.
There looks to be a good line up on it's way, with Detroit, Wild, Horizon....but some of these games are a year or so away, what's to get till then that can't be bought on a previous gen console or isn't an indie title?
The answer is nothing.
Neither of those answers, I´m not entirely happy but not unhappy. There are several things I don´t like:

Noisy? The PS4 is virtually silent.
