Well i already have it reserved.. so i'll pick it up.. i mean they gave it a bad written review but they also gave it a score of 7 or 7.5... thats not bad... i mean they also gave Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 a 6.5 or 7... and i loved that game.. i tend to not believe the hype with reviews.. i'd rather play it myself.. everyone has different opinions...
Guys on IGN you see the medium score and that's 8.9. It's a really good game but still dissapointing after all that Ubisoft has promised us. Well I didn't wanna buy it anyways, I bought CoD 4 friday and within 2 weeks it's gonna be Crysis or Kane & Lynch for me.
I'mnot going to buy any game that has frame rate issues. That's pure crap and shouldn't happen anymore, especially with high profile releases like AC.Chutebox

I am still going to buy it. I am really looking forward to this game, I have read all the sort of negative reviews and I think I can live witht the occasional framerate issue, and I have spent alot of time on repetitive and buggy but otherwise excellant games(Medieval II: Total War especially).
i still am dont listen to one review go by how you feel. besides if you go to game trailers they gave it a 9.1. now if im not mistaken thats really good

Same with me... and Im no fan of pop in either. IGNs review said that the frame rate issue becomes worse as you progress STUFF THAT and that the game is so repetitive that it gets boring fast. Also I didn't like the sound of the enemy A.I. being sub standard. This is a pass for me. As the review said the game has some good elements BUT just as many bad ones. Even though I have not played the game the review rang enough alarm bells for me to give it a miss.
it's really just the framerate issues i'm hearing about that are making me nervous, I could care less if someone gave it a mediocre review just because they didn't like the game.
cmon man the game had indeed the coolest prewiew movies ever but maybe it sounded so good and people that were rewiewing just expectid it to be perfect.

Hell yeah I'm getting it! COD4 got great reviews and I think that it's just like ever other FPS out there, nothing special about it, the story is only like 5 hours long at the most, and multiplayer is kinda boring! It just goes to show people have different opinions about stuff and that a couple bad reviews shouldn't affect how you as a gamer feels about a game! RentAssassain's Creedand judge for yourself, that's what I did with COD4 and I know now that COD4 is not a game for me so I'm not gonna buy it!
rental, 10-15 hrs of gameplay w/ a "braindead AI" and no replay value whatsoever? With haze/uncharted coming out, i have better ways of spending $60.

Well for me it now puts me in a area. "Because I just want to buy one this week." And now it looks like Ill buy Drakes. Even thow it is short. I want to kinda build a library too. So If Drakes is the better? Than thats a forsure buy. And AC is than a no buy, as just another game "rent." So I dont need it in the collection. Because Haze is like a few weeks latter. And even if that game is not a CoD4, its still made for the online thing. 4 player CO OP, car and trucks and stuff to drive. So it should be a online hit, maybe? And MX vs ATV also is coming "im big on that." And Ill get those.
You know another odd thing Gamepsot said the PS3 version had slightly better framerate. I think gameinformer? "Or someone" said exact equals. IGN says PS3 suffers some in framerate. No one has anything the same. I'm wondering now, whos playing what, and on what system? I give it a rent, or a week and see how it plays out. Or in'till the 20th when Drakes comes, "Which is a week." Either way, the full feel of this seems to be, its defiantly not a mega hit game.
not gonna buy it prolly a rent for me, i read/watched the ign review and some other ones and the dislikes they had with the game are valid and i agree with them.
Kinda disappointed that theres a modern link to the game and alot of reviewers dont seem to like it at all.
