Argh!!! Idiot!!

Ok, i'm having problems getting a nuke in modern warfare 2 on ps3, i get a harrier just 1 more kill till a chopper gunner, someone suddenly kills me and blows up my harrier, i'm going for my first nuke and my k/d ratio is 1.09 and my accuracy is nearly 21% and i'm looking for some top tips on how to get a nuke with ease.

When I get my harrier, I go hide in nearby cover, then will open it and wait a little bit to see enemy fire or until our team pops a UAV to get a good idea of where the enemy is at. The harrier hopefully will be able to take out at least 2 enemies, then it only needs to kill 2 more before you get chopper gunner. I really think the most difficult part is getting the first 7 kills. Just remember you can wait a bit before using your harrier, especially if it's at the beginning of a domination match. Ghost_702

Your advice is much appreciated, now the guns that i use for getting a nuke is a scar-h with grenade launcher, perks, one man army pro, stopping power pro and commando pro, i know i should use danger close but i need the power of the stopping power perk, and other than that yeah my highest killstreak is 20 and i get a harrier in nearly every game, the lowest killstreak i get in any match is 5. So i have improved a lot in a short space of time and my k/d doesn't really show too much but it is 1.10 now. when i first got the game my k/d was 0.55 now its doubled in just 3 weeks, well i guess practice makes perfect. p.s one man army just gets me soo many kills with my grenade launcher, its just marvelous the way the enemies just get blown to bits with my fall camo scar-h with an undermounted grenade launcher which in my case, KICKS ASS!!

Just keep trying and eventualy youll get your nuke. In MW2 it is more about luck than anything else.tommyas

Getting a nuke is overrated. You try as hard as possible to get it. Once i got it, i was like OMFG YA U GUYZ R PWND! Then i used it and was like hahaha u guyrs are al dead. Then the game ended and i was like, well i won the game, and got a new symbol.... Woopdeedoo. Nothing special.

I was so close to get a Nuke, I had like 20 kills, the game ended with the 20th kill. I was using ACR, with FMJ, and TMP, I love the TMP, but it really needs extended mags, I'm trying to unlock it. But yeah like some poster above said, is nothing special. I haven't got a nuke, but I'm not in a hurry either.

i have never gotten a nuke. I got a 24 kill streak once, but then some jerk with the mounted mini gun in wasteland "layed waste" to me :(

Ok, i got my first nuke three days ago in team deathmatch in wasteland, 27 killstreak; first 7 with my aug hbar with grip and chopper gunnered em all until i got 25 and i only nuked 2 people, lol.

Well, there are people who actually like the game and think its fun, i do respect your opinion but i disagree with it and well everyone's different so thats where human rights come in. lol. And tolerance of other people's views of course. :)

This is the way to get a nuke. Find a place on the map where you can watch all entrances to your area. take whoever comes through the area nd move to a different spot within that same area. Don't use grenade launcher until you see a group of players coming to your area. Make sure you have a harrior strike set as one of your perks. Go hide until the harrior gets shot down or its time expires. If your lucky you will get the required kills you need for a nuke and then just end the match by using the nuke.

Go around doing your thing. Once you get 5 or 6 kills, camp. Wait for some peeps so pass you and kill them. Let your harrier get your chopper gunner. Then, let your chopper gunner get your nuke.

I hate to say it but the easiest way is... *gulp* camping.

I don't need any more advice because i get harriers in nearly every game i play , i use a scar h fmj with stopping power pro with one man army just incase the enemies call in air support so can change to my cold blooded class and i got ninja pro on both of them so i'm invisible to heartbeat sensors and my footsteps are unheard.

Just if anyone wants to know, my k/d ratio is 1.13. 3 weeks ago it was around 0.50. so i have improved and not to mention i already got my first nuke! lol

Hack in and start cheating, thats what most people do :roll:

I got two legit nukes anyway so there is no point in boosting or cheating for a nuke...
