has anyone played a demo on army of 2 i dont know that there is one just trying to figure out if it is going to be any good. i am trying to decide whether to buy it or lost planet please help
It's not on the PSN. It looks good. I know the initial reviews were pretty bad though. But, they did delay it to do some work. Too bad it's EA doing it. They just don't do good honest buisness.
It's an EA title on the PS3.....does anyone HONESTLY think this title will be worth anything more than a flaming pile of dung? It was critically panned in it's early beta form, hence the return to the drawing board. Can they save it? Highly doubtful. Why?

Exactly. I'm a Madden nut, and I'm not going to buy next year. Period. F-'em. I'll spend my money on other games that actually care about their product.
I'm not a fan of their business model, but EA does put out some quality stuff. I've been waiting on Army of Two for 2 years now, and I am definitely picking it up on the 3rd

And the Need for Speed series, and Black, and Rock Band, and Crysis, the list goes on for miles
EA is a decent company. They have pro's and con's. There sport games are good. And some of there FPsS shooters. BLACK one of the best games on PS2. So you cant insult EA for every game.

burnout paradise is just a new coat of paint over the old formula like most- thats why it hasnt taken off the ground- like tony hawks, gamers are starting to get smart :)

Oh man you couldn't be any more wrong if you tried. If they had done burnout the same as Burnout Dominator (the last one) your point would be valid. But the latest game is a complete overhaul of the old formula. You either haven't played Burnout Paradise or you've only played the demo or you have played the game but only for a very short time.

Nobody said they didn't. They only "publish" a lot of games but somebody asked what EA games aside from sports games are any good. Published or developed they are still tagged with the EA label.
EA is like the Walmart of the gaming world, or the Mcdonald's. Its a giant corporation that is ruining the world the consumer world around it and taking out the little guys that made the market awesome in the first place.
Despite it being published by EA the gameplay looks awful, too many conveniantley placed boxes, the levels are the worse levels I have ever seen!!
It's actual frustrating for me when people think it's a good game and say they've watched the gameplay trailers.
Sure, the trailers make it look quite funny, and the fact that it's centered around co-op? fantastic! I was exactly like this at one point, but like I said, the gameplay trailers are horrible.
The game was actually sheduled for a much earlier release...but it was delayed because it was awful.

I've kept up on the game since news on it first surfaced. The gameplay looks enjoyable and the proposed depth of weapons and armor upgrades is nice. The implementation of an aggro system is pretty interesting as well given it's not typical for the genre and will allow for greater strategy.
I am dying to get my hands on this game, been tracking it for awhile now. The only problem I have is that most of the videos floating around the net has been based on XBox. There are few articles stating that they will be similar (blah blah blah) but you never know, EA did screw us couple of times. (And don't even put this game into Conflict category... because that game just blows.)
