Just finished playing the demo. Here are my lil review on it:

Positives:

+Fun arcade style shooting

+Lots of weapon options and upgrades

+decent graphics and well produced with cutscenes (for an arcade game)

+intuitive control system and aiming

Negatives:

- Poor AI. Let's hope this gets changed in the final version because with this AI, this game will be more difficult than it seems. Unless you play with a friend co-op the AI is horrible. AI does not follow properly, AI lags behind sometimes. AI does not heal you if you die. AI is not responsive sometimes. AI just sits and does nothing sometimes

-Cutscenes cannot be skipped? lets hope this gets changed too. I died a few times at first and had to watch the same cutscenes over and over

- control system although intuitive is not good enough. Have to use 2 buttons to aim diagonally unless you want the game to auto aim for you. I liked Kill zone : liberation's control system bettter. Hopefully there are options to switch control schemes in final version

-typical story line ( hope this changes as well but I doubt it) with generic "tough guy" comments made by the two of them.

Over all I enjoyed it, but hope they improve on it instead of just releasing the demo version as the final version. The AI is brain dead and without a friend playing, the AI just sucks and makes the game more difficult than it should be.

I enjoyed it as well. The AI partner didn't seem to follow commands like it should, but it WAS just a demo.

Fun gameplay though. Co op would probably be a blast..

honestly i was excited about this game but not anymore. the demo killed the hype for me because I found the gameplay boring and repetitive (even for a demo). Unless theres a kick a$$ multiplayer, im not getting this game

I loved the demo. I love the idea of being a two man team, and covering each others backs and stuff. I just found it too easy, because if you die, your partner revives you, and vice versa.

No infrastructure : (

It would be fun if you could play co-op

Your partner is just too dumb in this demo, and It was boring. The boss fights look interesting though, and I saw in a trailer that you can play as Dante, which would be funny

The AI was quite useful in my opinion. He killed a lot, he revived me when i died, he did everything i expected him to.

i agree with most of what Jason said but i felt the AI did revive when needed but the overall AI does needs tuning. i like the PSP demo better than the PS3 demo. by the way, i was able to skip the opening cutscene in the PSP demo but not the PS3 demo. wtf? and they both the same

it works if you stand right next to AI. If you are in one corner and AI is sitting on another corner, AI does not walk to me to heal me. I don't know if its a glitch or is that how it supposed to be. Is there a way to take control of AI when you die so you can control AI to bring him close to my dead body to heal me? if not then, AI does not work if you and AI are not close to each other.

I just played it again, and this time the AI did come to me to heal me. But the AI mapping is bad where he gets stuck in an object and you have to guide him to follow you or you can leave him behind. when I came to face the first boss with the chain gun, my ally was off screen and I came inside the screen by myself. My AI was stuck in the previous screen. I ended up dying, and my ally still did not make it to my screen to heal me. Its just minor inconvenience, and I am sure there will be other glitches where AI will be brain dead. I am being picky, but reviewers will give it bad score if even I notice simple AI glitches like this. I like the game though, and I think if I play it co-op with a friend of mine, it will be really fun. The follow command also sometimes does not make ally follow. This game needs tweaking with the AI controls. It would be really nice though if we could switch between characters when playing single player. That would make it a lot easier than depending on an AI ally.Lots of existing games already have that option, where AI controls but player can switch control and take over ally character. example: socom, marvel ultimate alliance, unbound saga.

Really? Cause When I played, the guy killed a hostage and i had to run around him in circles a few times to get him to follow me. Plus, he wouldn't dodge the missiles or whatever it was that fell from the sky.

I played in all difficulties , but Oh well..

Now i can't go back to it cause i deleted it already

He was heart broken by his horrible deed, and prayed for the womans soul for a bit.
