Someone explain to my the different online modes for Army of Two please, thankssavinger
The three I played last night were called crappy, boring and total frustration. The names alone will tell how good it was. Sorry dude awful online play. Now maybe if I can find somebody who will not quit on me, I will be able to give you a less sarcastic answer.
I was playing quick matches in versus. You can set up private matches but you need 3 friends to join. Right now it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.siwelcram
you really hate this game dont you. Most everyone else i talked to on here loves it.

Had a blast co-op online. Everything else I will wait and see. I rated it a 7.4The key to online is playing with somebody you know. Otherwise you're teamed up with a random person who may or may not have a mic and probably won't play as a team. It's just the two of you, so strategy actually means something online. It can be frustrating if you're expecting to just run around like a maniac.
This is why I already have a partner to play AoT even before the game was released...The key to online is playing with somebody you know. I am curious as the how the online player works too, but I have a feeling that the OP and myself are looking for a differenct answer than the ones given. I don't want to know how it works, but what it is so to speak...
Exactly what are the objectives of the online play? I know it's not a deathmatch scenario and that there are different modes with different objectives. And while I understand that killing each other certainly comes into play, I am curious as to what some of these objectives are. And is it true that there is computer AI enemies as well as real people? How does one team "win" the match? Is it based on points/cash for getting objectives along with kills?
Straight from the manual....
There three different online versus modes,
1. Warzone - The battlefeild has increased activity and hunting the enemy team is your main goal. Objectives are focused on destroying or defending key targets.
2. Extraction - The goal is saving downed allies on the battlefield and getting them out of the area. Defend and escort hostages but keep an eye out for the enemy team who will try to stop you at every turn. They too have allies that need to be removed so stop them as well.
3. Bounties - The landscape is littered with high price targets that need to be rubbed out. It's an all out race between you and the opposing team to take down as many key targets as possible. Eliminate the targets and earn as much cash as possible.
