Army of Two slips into 2008

Despite working together EA is unable to get its buddy action game out the door on time.

Reuters reports that EA's Army of Two, a military themed co-operative action title, will now be released early in 2008.

The title had been expected to arrive in stores in November, but EA has said the development team at EA Montreal requires extra time to ensure the game is polished when it eventually ships.

Not a bad move, if it was released in the christmas rush it would be shadowed by games like COD4, Halo 3, Haze etc

I dunno if should be pissed off or not. Ive been waiting on this game for 2 years and was gonna pick it up with Kayne and Lench. First they push back K&L to Nov 20th(not a big deal) Then they push this 2 HA HA, ur as cant have it 08. SMMFH @ ALL THESE DELAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not surprised any longer. A lot of games we all thought were coming out this holiday season have been pushed back on all three consoles. This is just one of them--wonder what's next?feryl06

Reallly. I wouldn't consider this news either.More and more developersare deciding to hold their games until '08. This doesn't bother as much as it use to. I've gotten use to the last minute delays, in terms of anticpated games, over the past few months.

Not surprise if EA want to avoid the November punch up with other heavy weight competitors. :PThomas-Crown

sure, like they'd rather compete with MGS4, Killzone 2, LIttle big planet, DMC 4, UT3, Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, Soul Calibur IV, and Battlefield bad company?? its just another case of EA doing what they do best, screwing up.
