Idk about AC2, but I have one piece of advice for you STAY AWAY FROM FAR CRY 2. Fallout 3 is a good game and if you like AC1 then you'll probably like AC2 even more.
Ok thanks, but what's wrong with Farcry 2 it looked pretty good.Guchari
Exactly, it looks good but it sucks. It takes forever to get to missions, random people attack you every 2 minutes, and gun jamming is annoying. I could probably go on and on with all the problems I saw in the game but I don't feel like typing that much.
Ok thanks, but what's wrong with Farcry 2 it looked pretty good.GuchariIt's not THAT bad, but it gets a lot of (deserved) hate for some of its design choices. Driving everywhere to get to your next mission gets old, but it gets even worse because all of the guard posts around the map respawn, and the chances of blowing through them on your vehicle without it getting destroyed are pretty slim. So you have to stop, kill everyone there, and then continue on your way, over and over again because those posts are everywhere.

Agreed on both counts.
AC2 is like AC1 but everything is better. It is less repetitive than the first one and you have more things to do. If you like AC1 you would like AC2.

Just because of this, I'm going to pick the game up and see if I don't like it. :P On a serious note, Assassin's Creed 2 all the way. JUST because I have scars from AC1.You have to get Assassin's Creed 2. My favourite game of all time. The only thing AC1 is better at than AC2 is the way that assassinations are carried out. For everything else AC2 obliterates AC1 by light years.

P.S. DON'T BUY FAR CRY 2. Horribly repetitive with pathetic MP, i can't belive i wasted $89 (AU) on it. Great graphics, physics, immersiveness, lighting and all but the gameplay and story is horrid (which is what they should have focused on), not to mention endless respawns of guard outposts (every 2 mins).
i reviewed it here. I know it's a lot of text but it gives you all the information you need.
Assassin's Creed 2 is a far better game than the first, but it's also a Ubisoft game - ie, it'll drop in price very quickly. Heck, I picked it up less than a month after launch during a one day $30 promotion. If you want something now, I'd recommend the Fallout 3 GOTY edition - great value for your money. Then pick up Assassin's Creed 2 when it drops to $40 or $30 or so.DJ_LaeI disagree. Ubisoft games drop in price quickly because they are average, or below average a lot of the time. AC2 is the exception for a quite a while, so it's going to be at £30+ for a long, long time.
