Assassins creed 2 ending WTF. SPOILER WARNING

Before i get into my arugment i need to say this SPOILERS SPOILERS AND MORE SPOILER ARE ABOUND so if u havent played the game leave this post.

so i just got done with a.2 and well it was a great ending right but was this all really just some b.s trying to prove 2012 is going to happen?? well when ezio takes out the pope forgot his name he ends up to talking to a woman god who warns u the audience that we are in for another apocalypse then wen desmond gets out of the animus and u fight off the templar guards that blonde chick gives the entire theroy of 2012 with the whole planet pole things and how one big flare is gonna knock us off course and kill us all? so my question is WTF!

This is the first I've heard of this as I'm not a fan of the series, sounds like they're desperate.

I've watched this 2012 movie and red some article about 2012, a lot of them refer to that Mayan calendar thingy, all planet in our solar system aligned in one straight line cause disturbance in natural balance and what not, of course none of them makes sense to me except for our North/South pole shifting, this shifting process weaken our Earth's magnetic field which is protecting us from solar flare trying to bake us slowly explained in those science channel like History Channel or Discovery Channel. Then again, pole shifting is natural occurance, needs million years to complete and we humans seems to be "clever" enough in fastening its process.

I think it would provide a great storyline for the third one myself, it's a big reason to have more missions outside of the animus.

its all a conspiracy Assassin's Creed 2 is only an example of what happens in real life..

All I know is that I'm super excited for a 3rd game now. Awesome game with some really creepy stuff contained in it.

**SPOILERS!**

What I understand is...

1. Minerva warned Desmond about the apocalypse and how to prevent it from happening by finding some temples.

2. Abstergo is still searching for Pieces of Eden to launch a satelite that would brainwash everyone and give the Templars control of the world.

3. Altair and Maria Thorpe have a child together and the Assassin's bloodline continues from this child. Meaning to say, Maria is Desmond's distant grandmother.

4. Minerva and her kind created humans and used the Pieces of Eden to enslave us. Adam and Eve stole a Piece of Eden in an attempt to free us from the "gods".

5. Some of these "gods" and humans had children together and the result was the birth of the Assassins. That is why the Assassins have the gift of Eagle Vision and some, like Altair and Ezio, are resistant to the effects the Pieces of Eden.

6. The Mark of Cain is the Templar's symbol, meaning Cain was the first Templar.

7. Altair's armour was forged out of a special metal he discovered through his Apple of Eden which is why the armour is said to be indestructible but weightless.

All of this can be discovered either through the main story, glyph puzzles or the Codex pages.

I really love AC2, it's my fave game ever as well as the first game I got the platinum trophy for.

Overall, I loved the game, but one of the things that irritated me the most was during the middle. Everything got kinda confusing for me, and I wasn't sure why I doing this or killing this person, etc. I'd kill someone "bad" trying to take over a district, then it'd jump forward 2-4 years, and someone would whisper in my ear "This person has BO!" And that was my motivation to kill someone else. Yeah, I'm kidding somewhat, but seriously that is what is felt like part of the game, lol. It was really just the overarching story that kept me going because I found the premise for the games interesting.
