I've been having a hard time playing Assassins Creed because the frame rate can seem sooo choppy and slow sometimes. It seems to skip, or jump, with lines across the screen sometimes, especially when looking around from a lookout spot or tall building. Sometimes it's great, usually when close to Altair and when there's not much in the screen. But when it get's to open spaces and panning the camera, it's pretty bad. I've read some posts of others saying it's fine. But i'm thinking it must be my TV because if some say the FR sucks, and some say it's fine...there must be a problem with the TV, cause I have to assume all PS3's are equal. And if there wasn't a problem, there never would have been any questions on here about the frame rate. And..unless I remember wrong, I believe there was an update that addressed a frame rate issue, which I have. AND, I even remember reading that the PS3 Assassins Creed is supposed to have a more stable frame rate. I'm hoping it's my tv or something fixable, because I can't imagine a flaw that would bother me this much would still warrant the game such a high rating. I especially can't imagine the developers/producers letting it out the door this way. So if anybody can help me out, explain one way or the other, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
By the way, if it ends up being a Television matter..
MY TV is a Samsung TXS3082WH - It's a SlimFit HD model that does everything except 1080p.
