Assassins Creed - Gameplay?

Do you think Assassins Creed's gameplay will be similar to a game that is already out? Which game? 

Prince of Persia?No,not all of it anyway.As rumour has it that this is a time traveling game and that the medievil setting is just one level.

 it looks that the combat system of assassin's creed is somthing to look forward to . :D

I heard it was all based in one era and that the targets were actual leaders who died during those years.
