Assassin's Creed PS3 patch coming soon

Should fix a freezing problem some PS3 owners have been experiencing.

The Ubisoft community manager has posted over on the Assassin's Creed forum to confirm that a game update for the PlayStation 3 version of the game is on the way.

"Following our recent statement regarding the freeze issues that some consumers are facing with Assassin's Creed on PlayStation 3, we can confirm that we are actively working on a game update. This update will help improve the stability of the game and will be released as soon as possible," said the community manager.

The patch will be made available over the PSN and at this time it's not known if gamers not connected to the internet will be able to obtain the patch.

What exactly is screen tearing?

It won't matter to me personally since I finished the game last evening.

It really wasn't a big deal, during my eighteen hours of gameplay, I had about 3-4 freezes that took half a minute to get back to the game.

It is a bit annoying, but it didn't affected my fun for the game. A patch will definitely most welcome.
