I play assassins creed and when you just go straight to the game and start to play for like maybe 5 minutes the game freezes up. But when I sit there for 5 minutes the game is finished loading and I am able to go around on my onslaught. Can someone tell me why assassins creed keeps freezing up on me like this.
I hardly count a game loading as a bug (if he's talking about when you can walk around before actually getting to play anything). A bug would be the game freezing where the controller no longer responds and you have restart the PS3.
well...if hes freezin like me ...u can move the camera and all but the player doesnt walk...u can even push start ...lol...but player doesnt move...someone told me u have to download 1.1 patch for assasins creed and bug goes out :p

Well I got it after the patch was out and immediately downloaded it before I started playing so I apologize for my bit of ignorance there. That I would qualify as a bug.

You have to download a patch. Sign into your PSN account and then load the game, it will automatically give you a message that a patch needs installation before you can continue.
It's worth it, I almost traded AC back to GameStop because it was practically unplayable, but ever since the patch, I have had zero issues.
I've been having the same problem, but it seems to be pretty universal. However, when I try to download the patch it freezes at about 5 or 6%, then cancels after a few minutes. Is this a problem with my internet connection? It seems to be fine, I can use the browser. But if anyone has any idea how to correct this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
