I just bought Ninja Gaiden today and started playing it. The audio in every cut scene doesn't work. The dialogue sounds like the characters are mumbling and without subtitles you can't understand what they're saying. I went to the audio menu and turned up the dialogue volume to 100 and that didn't work. So I figured it was my stereo checked all the connections it was all working good. So I thought it might be the system and tried all my other games and there weren't any problems. I returned the game to EB and got another copy and it has the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

All i can say is do upgrade your firmware and check your sound settings on the ps3 xmb. Sometimes i have to have the lastest firmware to play in 5.1, so maybe the game could have problems with regular settings as well?

I've got my audio running into a sony reciever through an optical cable at 5.1 uncompressed. Should I try turning down to regular compressed 5.1 or even a lower setting for a the game and see if that works? Since it is a remake ofa last gen game they might not have updated the audio to fully uncompressed 5.1.
