The AV Cable doesn't work on the PSP 1000 but it works for the PSP 2000 and 3000. I'm pretty sure if you get the AV cables it won't let you play your PSP games on your TV but the component cables with 5 wires for the TV which works for HD TV's lets you play games.
Correct. The composite cables (yellow/red/white RCA's) will only play music and pictures, the component cables will play games as well. oh wow, thank you everyone. I have the original PSP though, so I guess it won't work. I was planning on getting one of the newer ones anyway though. I have one more question. How is the picture. will it fit the tv screen or does it look small?nemiroyalegames are cut down to about half the screen to preserve aspect ratio. hardly worth the $25 you could use to buy a game for the PSP you own now
hey, I was just wondering if it's possible to get an av cable for the older PSP. I've tried putting something together before, but it didn't work...in fact I failed miserable at it. But i know that the PSP Go has an av cable accessory, I was just wondering if it's also compatible with the older PSPs.nemiroyaleYes i think they do, Look around a bit at the local game shops and at department stores.
