I still have my old PS2 but it stopped working because of disc read errors not too long before i got the 60gb. Really though i havent even played many PS2 games since ive had my 60gb. Still i prefer to have the option to go back and play ZOE or GTA III (still the best GTA game in my eyes) again.
Definately! There are so many good PS2 games out there! I have a 60 GB ps3 and i have games like GTAIV and far cry, even Rock band 2 and all ive been playing on it is Resident Evil 4 for the ps2 the last few days! lol! Which is a Freakin awesome game by the way!:P
It was important to me when the ps3 first came out, but not so much anymore. If I were to buy one right now, i wouldnt care, too many ps3 games to play to be concerned with last gen games.
I already did... with my 60gb model. When they announced they were pulling BC out of the PS3's, I went out and bought one. I can't just let my copy of Katamari Damacy sit here, can I?
The region code for dvds is really annoying. I think there is no point having backwards compatabilities. But it would be nice to play some of the ps2 games upscaled. However, in Asia we have a huge problem with playing ps2 games on the ps3. especially back during the ps2 days there were a lot of pirated games in the market that no1 really owned much original titles. Its sad, but its changing with the ps3. People can only own original titles.
