Bad company 2 beta destroying Ps3 controllers???

Yesterday i posted it a post about my ps3 controller not working after i install BF BC2....

Well i just found out this morning that one of my friends controller stop working right after he install BC2 too!!!!

WTF!???

in my case i can only use my directinal pad.... on his just the X button.....

do what dude said on my forum i didnt think about it being linked to the bfbc2 beta :|

yea it was like mine just lost connection but its wierd only certain buttons quit on yours and your friends

well how do you explane...just right after i finish installing it... my controller stop working...

and same thing with my friends controller right after he install his ONLY the X botton works... We try everything.... nothing works not even the reset...

1st gen.... i got it on launch day...but the controller i got it a year or two later...its a dual shock 3.

and confirm! it is The BC2 beta....

I got my hands on a brand new controller... from a friend...and everything work fine i played MW2 with out pro. till we started playing the BETA! the controller dint work anymore..only the PS botton... The good thing about it is that it work perfect after a reset.... what do u guys think...

I got my hands on a brand new controller... from a friend...and everything work fine i played MW2 with out pro. till we started playing the BETA! the controller dint work anymore..only the PS botton... The good thing about it is that it work perfect after a reset.... what do u guys think...

Very strange... maybe a million chance? And just so happened 4 times maybe? I don't know. At least you know how to fix it now.

Well yes it can. The game can send commands to the PS3 then rely the info to the controller and mess up its drivers and such. Like computer viruses.

If it worked fine after a reset most likely it's a problem with the beta where only certain buttons are allowed to respond. Probably a problem with coding my advice: try deleting the Beta and redownloading and reinstalling and see what happens

The hell? This is some crazy stuff here, I've never been affected.

sounds like BC2 causes a glitch in the PS3's Cell Matrix which sends error codes and corrupts the bluetooth transmissions array.machiavell8x8

well i did... the new controler works fine now...

but my old one is still acting up.... it seems like it mess up the drivers or something..... oh well.... thanks for the help guys...
