bad darksiders glitch

i'm at the part where you (SPOILERS) help free the angle of death (END SPOILERS) and im on the last beam but when i went through to unlock the door at the top war just went through it instead and then it autosaved and now i cant get through even though i still have the key. i tried to load the game but i still appear behind the locked door but now there is another door i can't open in the way of the lock. I decided to do everything i could in that part but when i came back to it the door still won't open.

Thats probably the same glitch that happened to my brother 18 hours in. he's taking a break from the game now. losing 18 hours and having to start over isn't fun. sorry, best thing to do is probably keep multiple saves.

That's a messed up glitch. If there's an official forum for Darksiders, you should report it. They may release a patch if they can replicate the problem.
