hey im not sure if you guys know but it was news to me because i didnt know. Im a huge Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 fan and i was def. waiting to hear anything about Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 especially since SF4 was so good. I just saw yesterday on G4 that Capcom has no plans to do a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but they are planning on doing some HD remixes of the game. I guess im excited for that but all in all im a little disappointed because i thought they couldve done some cool things with 3. what do you all think???
I think it's more like milking the fighting gamers market. Capcom made a remix of SFII, then released SFIV straight after a few months, kinda like trying to earn for two games at once.
Personally I am not seeing the bad news. I mean, I lost interest in 2-D fighting games the day 3-D fighting games popped up on the scene. I have no interest in picking up any of the games the TC mentioned including Street Fighter 4.
i really like all fighting games...doesnt matter if they're 2d or 3d but to tell you the truth i like 2d a little bit more. The only 3d ones i like is Tekken and i heard that the new Tekken is supposed to be unbelievable...the manager at a Gamestop was telling me that the new Tekken is so powerful they might only be able to release it on PS3 because the 360 wont be able to handle it. i dont know if its true or not but it makes me damn proud to own a PS3. Games like Soul Caliber and D.O.A just dont do it for me cuz i think its to easy, like anyone can pick it up and do killer combo's with Maxi or Taki.... haha but i guess the same can be said about 2D games. but im old school!
