Your trophies aren't on your HDD dude, they're on the Playstation servers.
If you don't get unbanned, you have to start over.
How the hell did you get banned in the first place?
Banned console ? so what, even if you make a new account on that system it wont work ?Muridi
They can track down your console's IP and ban the whole console itself from ever signing onto the PSN.
You mean... Really... Bad, really damn bad. But trophies should be connected with offline profile somehow, no? Before connecting to network and renewing actual list them shoul be holded somethere on ps3, should they? Or... Just explain me the mechanism all that trophy stuff working. Bout how i get this one - i have shared games with guys who actually brought them on stolen cc...Your trophies aren't on your HDD dude, they're on the Playstation servers.

What if say, I was signed in with my account on a friends PS3, would his system get banned ? or do they track down the IP used when making account or somethingYour trophies are located on a certain part of your HDD until you sign in to PSN.
Once you do that, they're put onto the Sony servers and taken off your HDD, I believe.
If you were to only play your console offline and never sign in, then your trophies would be on your HDD, but then again you wouldn't be worrying about getting banend either.
Will anybody explain me there did trophies actually located then i got them OFFLINE (BEFORE updating info on psn). They must be somethere. The question is on HDD or any Flash ps3 memory.... Maybe you just fully understand my question? I still cant get way trophies keep before sing'n-in psn.thamindflareIf you was to make a new PSN account and check your offline trophy list, the list will be empty. Trophies are connected to your ID, not your system.
This is how trophies work..
Whether you are signed in to the PSN or not doesn't matter..
You get them, they show up in your trophy collection however they are not displayed online..
So you have to sync them with the server, which there are a few ways to do so..
- triangle click on trophy collection and choose "sync with server"..
- compare trophies with someone..
- click on your ID to view your profile..
Now if you got a trophy and didn't sync, that trophy is just saved (saved not meaning the data just meaning that your system knows it's unlocked) to your system, meaning only your system recognizes that you achieved it..
Therefore if you did not sync your trophies prior to your "ban" and can't log into the PSN to sync, then you have to re-get those trophies..
But, if i remember correctly your account is banned meaning you can't use that ID.. So you would have to create a new user and sign up for the PSN again.. So really your whole trophy collection is lost..
So why did you get banned? PM me if it would get moderated by these sensitive types that roam these boards..
Or, did't notice your reply. Thanks. Finally something serious. My REAL id with all trophies was not banned, but 2-3 frieds "4 share only acounts" were. And so console=((( *-I typed the real reason of my ban few posts ago. This is how trophies work..

Did you get banned because you was sharing games or was it because the credit cards were stolen ?MuridiFo sho... Cc. Sonyz do not really cares about sharing.

What if say, I was signed in with my account on a friends PS3, would his system get banned ? or do they track down the IP used when making account or something under certain circumstances ... yes . that is why in the TOS it states YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for everyone that uses your ps3 .[QUOTE="Muridi"]Banned console ? so what, even if you make a new account on that system it wont work ?hiryu3Sony said a while ago that if you got banned you would need to have another ISP and console because they would block both. NO ... they cannot ban an ISP because then your AUTOMATICALLY banning thousands if not millions of users . each PS3 has a UNIQUE MAC ADDRESS associated to it's network HARDWARE . this mac address cannot be changed ... ever . they ban the mac address as banning IP only means one has to move or spoof another address .
Ah damn it, I wont allow my friends play my PS3 online no more. I used to let my friends use my American account but damn that solution wont work if they ban the whole system. Muridiletting friends log into your account from a different console is a violation of TOS . not all bans are console bans . the least offenses get a simple temporary account ban with which an individual just cant login to a specific account for a time . Console bans are used for the most severe or habitual violations .
[QUOTE="Muridi"]Did you get banned because you was sharing games or was it because the credit cards were stolen ?thamindflareFo sho... Cc. Sonyz do not really cares about sharing. NOT TRUE . if you read the TOS and PSN rules you will find that gamesharing is against policy . you really dont think they publish games for one person to buy and 50 others get for free and still expect profit right ???? no brainer , i knew that would be a rule , even before reading it .
Not possible. New PS3 will force you to format old HDD. Your un-synced trophies considered lost unless you can sync using your old PS3 which is not possible anymore since Sony banned your MAC address (unique hardware ID) to prevent you sync trophy and sign-in PSN even if you changed your public IP or ISP.

are you actually against sharing ? if you are, then *beep*me..:)
99% of our psncommunity is always FOR sharing , but you get this 1% of silly and depressive people.
he didnt sync the trophies so yes they are on his hdd, but any way no you cant take the hdd out and put it in anouther ps3 and retain info. the system will formate the hdd after putting in in.Your trophies aren't on your HDD dude, they're on the Playstation servers.

Actually reviving a thread after it has been more than 10 days since it's last post is against GameSpot's ToU. So Mr. Fuzzy here you go and I highly suggest you read all the rules, including the one about not insulting users, before you post on GameSpot.
All of your trophies are stashed on your HDD. Although your trophies won't show online like a few people said. Sony is doing everything in their will to protect theh PS3 and PSN. If you ever want to sync your trophies, you have to talk with your ISP about changing your IP address since they will ban both of those. Sorry to hear you got banned man.

Once again ... an example of a person pullinfg info out of thin air . There is no such rule . there is this though . Trolling (Inciting flames):Messages that annoy and/or offend other users by going against the clear nature of a board, topic or chat room are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: provoking other users to respond with flames; provoking fans of a particular system or game, especially on boards or topics dedicated to that system or game; making misleading topic titles; asking obviously useless questions; posting false information as fact; and using another user?s quote in your signature without permission. take special note of " POSTING FALSE INFORMATION AS FACT . " not suprising though , I'm not exactly new to the forum scene , and already knew the silliness of such claim . Now were my comments INSULTS ??? DEBATABLE !!! not a single thing i said was false , nor do i regret or apologize for anything said because their ALL true ... unlike your claims .digitalfuzzy
