Banned From Playstation Home, PSN

I tried accessing the playstation store very recently and the Playstation Home demo thing threw itself at me, so I downloaded it having never even SEEN it before (I must have been out of the loop). So I got on, made a funny avatar, and found the whole thing a bit too 'fantasy' for my liking, and being that I wasn't committed to keeping it for that long, in one area with people dancing I said "Where are you from" and after getting no response I said "Where are you from" again like 30 times.

This leads a loser to begin rallying people to report me, and in no time it seemed like she had gotten 5 of her e-Friends to take her case up too and they continued reporting me. I proceed to call her a "dumb hoe" and she says "you will be gone LOL!!" to which I replied along the lines of "get a life you nerd b*tch LOL!!" and this went on for a few more exchanges and then she blocked me. Note that I said she decided to block me AFTER she felt obligated to report me and get others to do so as well. I proceeded to do the running man dance in her vicinity and make gestures.

Not caring, I began calling her "boyfriend" (as she referred to him) some names and called him a "dbag" and a few other names because he was one of the ones who reported me along with her.

Then I reported her when I figured out how. This was like my third time playing but on the second instance I also got reported (apparently even though I didnt know what this meant at that time) by a kid who was being racist as I was exchanging insults (provoked by his racism of course). So those are my GRAVE offenses. Never been warned, never received any communication on behalf of PSN threatening action. BANNED.

BTW, don't respond saying things like "its your fault" or "shouldnt have said those things" , it was all WORDS, pointless WORDS.

It's your fault. You shouldn't have said those things.

Note: If someone reports you, the admin look at your responses to being reported and what you did just before being reported. If they have proof that you're being a dumbass, they'll ban you. Simple as that.

my point is, i had no idea of the punishment. if SONY wants to be a real company they should have a REAL system in place (i.e. one mandatory warning before action) or a definitive rules policy.

congrats on missing the point of this thread entirely. so because person x has 5 friends gang up on person z over something that was not OFFENSIVE to begin with and something that could have been avoided (via blocking) person z now has lost all PSN privileges WITHOUT WARNING.

also, someone explain to me WHY kids in that game PAY *REAL* money for *FAKE* clothing. it is not cool. it does not exist. it gives them no tangible benefits.

they could donate the 2 dollars it costs them for their lame turtleneck sweater and leather pants and DIESEL hat (omg laff) to CHARITY and save kids lives from malaria.

so let me get this straight, people on PS3 HOME cant afford games... yet they can afford to spend money on FAKE clothing , FAKE furniture, etc. that does not exist in real life or exist in any capacity outside the sphere of that game...

spending 2 dollars on something that gives you no benefit whatsoever (PS3 HOME clothes / furniture) is not justifiable, as that is akin to holding a dollar bill over a lighter flame and watching it disintegrate before your eyes. dont even try to say PS3 home clothes bring some more enjoyment, you already have clothes to choose from.

That argument can be levelled at DLC in general, though, not just Home. I mean, people (myself included) buy costumes in LBP. It's the same thing really, just like buying other types of DLC.

Yeah then your either lieing or you did something alot alot worse ur not telling us... i have heard guys get banned for only a month for doing stuff way worse than you and they were just banned from home not PSN....... and if you want to prove your story... take a pic of the message sony sent saying your banned for life... which i doubt u have..... and plus you could just create a new user and sign up and make a new PSN!
