Batman Arkham Asylum demo

having recently dowloaded and played the Latest batman demo i have to say its preety cool but ive heard mixed views. What does everybody think about it?

I thought the demo was excellent. I will be picking up this game for sure.

Im buying it, the exclusive Gamestop demo was lame, this one on the other hand got me. I well buy this first day just because it comes out on my b-day and it should hold me until uncharted 2 and rachet and clank

well if ppl dont want to get it fine lol i dont think anyone or the ppl whose buying it including me care if u do or not. whether the game is a hit or miss, to me and those who like it or love it going to enjoy it and cant wait for it to be released and thats all that matters really

Could not comprehend playing that game on PC, will definitely be getting it for my ps3 that's for damn sure after playing the demo. So glad they brought back Mark Hamil as the Joker, nobody elsecan match that voice and laugh.

I'm just glad it wasn't the same voice from the Dark Knight, Christian Bale really got on my nerves in that movie.

I stopped playing the demo early on and i mean early like just learned triangle countered.. i knew at that point i was going to like the game..

ps3 has exclusive joker, so why is that a hard decision

I was expecting crap but its actually really good!

Huh I guess my statement was too complicated for you to understand? I never said I couldn't play it, would just feel so damn detached would feel awkward.

I thought it was fun but too easy. I'll wait for reviews like any other game I'm not too sure about.

I really liked the demo, I might go pre order this game next week.

It was pretty cool, and much better than i thought it would be. Can it be that we actually have a decent batman game other than the nes one? All signs point to yes as of right now.

Well I saw a few trailers and vids, was thinking it was just another game to ignore. But...I played the demo and I wanted more, I thought it was really good.

Somehow it plays boring IMO, the fights are lame, the combination R2 and triangle to KO someone on the ground is stupid and the detective mode is boring as well :S Don't think I'm going to buy this one :S

I dug the demo a lot! I thought the free flow fighting was sweet (almost felt like the dark night). I will be picking this game up but prolly won't get a chance to play since I am on my last year at the university (damn you school!!!).

The demo was a bit short imo, but what was there was good. I'll be getting it on release day. Probably for PS3 as that has the Joker challenge levels. But the 360 version looks a little better on my TV so I'm not 100% sure yet.

Wouldn't the demo have been set to the easiest possible difficulty? And wasn't it the very beginning, basically a tutorial? I don't think the final product will be all that easy in the end...raven_squad

yes and yes, not sure why others dont grasp this. when the difficulty is on hard you don't see the !!! above the enemys heads for one.

I been eyeing this game for awhile, waited to play the demo to see if I'd pre-order it, and pre-order it I did. Due to my internet quota I had to get the demo on PC, so I played it on my mac with the 360 controller, wish the console versions had this physx stuff.
