yes i know a car charger is not a battery. I am not an idiot. what I am saying is that you should just buy a car charger instead of wasting your money on a new battery that will not last noticeably longer than your normal battery

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. However, my question was what battery lasts the longest, not where or how I could charge the battery. I'm taking a long international flight soon and which is why I wanted to know what the longest lasting battery is.

no offence taken. but you are probably not going to find a significantly longer lasting battery although the book "hacking the psp" has a few pages on how to make your own external battery pack out of four AA batteries so you could look into that. or you could just buy another battery and that will be alot more hours and when the batteries run out you could just annoy the flight attendants by constantly asking them when the drink cart is coming so you can get another beer.
