battlefield 3 keeps freezing my ps3 slim.

battlefield 3 has just again frozen my ps3 slim while loading too the main menu.since the launch of battlefield 3 it froze my playstation like 5times within the 1st effing month.i played uncharted 3 and feels polishes and finished and has not froze my ps3.battlefield 3 seems like an unfinished product without VOIP and constant lag/input lag/freezing.

a) will this effect my ps3 slim or tv in any way?

B)how many times has battlefield 3 frozen on you?

I did not freez in the menues before, but I ran into sveral freezes when playing online. The game is just too powerful for the system and uses alot of its resources.

My friends suffered the same problem and they freez also in game ( Multiplayer)

Maybe there is a patch for it at somepoint.

VOIP is improved though and has been pretty good. ( It can be imporved)

as for the Lag, the only time I lagged is on the first day I got the game. Now its really smooth and never had an issue.

Yeah, I have the same problem. It has not happened that many times (yet), but it is noticably annoying. It only happens for me from the point I put the disc in to the main menu. Once I get into a game it's fine, but getting to that point can be rather tense.

It shouldn't do anything to the TV, but I'd assume it's not good to turn the PS3 off like that after so many times of doing it, which is why I don't play BF3 overly much (well that, and I Arkham City has taken over my gaming time).

Mine has definitely frozen both offline and online. I think offline it was before I reached the main menu, it just crashed. Online I find it often doesnt allow me to spawn unless I click respawn mutliple times. Also had a few freezes while actually playing online. I can't imagine how it would effect your TV. obesity007

I think the reason u froze offline is because at the main menue there is always a saving point. U will be able to see the Auto Save Square in the top right corner, if u attempt to rush through it in the begining u may run into those problems. I just wait until the saving is done and then choose the option I want to play.
