This may (hopefully) be obvious for the majority of you, but this is NOT a follow up to BFBC2. Bad Company was and always will be a lesser spin off of the Battlefield main series.

This is a follow up to 2005's BF2, which is by far the best game to bear the name.

I'm a console gamer, I love my PS3 and play it daily, I also enjoy Bad Company 1 and 2, but Battlefield 3 is a PC game and should have always been exclusive to that system - it will not be designed around console play and could very easily flop. I'm getting this on PC (if I upgrade by then) and holding out for Bad Company 3 for my console.
