Yes maybe he was playing on pcs a lot or looking at pcs but if you are running 60 fps an on next gen it shouldn't look that lackey like the guy says an I know pcs look better than consoles but it shouldn't have that much of lack for a new gen console lets just hope he's Wrong cause it will be bad knockouts72
it also depends on the specs of the pc, which I'm sure were pretty high as they are trying to show off this game. Time will tell though, I'm just trying to stay optimistic.
Comparing with other PS4 games that people say wow when seeing it, It is Dice fault not PS4 limitations & also at launch it will be better I heared it is in alpha mode (Very early to judge graphics)
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/08/23/gamescom-battlefield-4s-graphics-lacking-on-ps4. Take a look at this article the guy from ign went to play battlefield 4 an said that the graphics on the ps4 was lacking an that all the game play that they have Ben showing is from high top pcs an when it came to the ps4 it wasn't what he was use to seeing what's you guys opinion on this knockouts72shocker. I expected better... This has put me off buying the game even more
A $400 console is never goign to beat a high end PC.
And if you're goign console to be on the bleeding edge tech, well, you're doing it wrong.
The main core game IS there though. 64 players, same size maps, 60 FPS (though apparently not 1080p). Almost all the things that only existed on the PC version of the game last time around, so console players should be in for a treat, regardless.
Of course, that'll start to chage as this gen continues on. PC hardware is always improving, after all.
Give me a break. Anyone expecting console graphics to look as good as top-of-the-line PC is extremely naive. Besides that, it's not like the game won't still look awesome on consoles, it will just look better on PC. It's like claiming a Ferrari isn't fast because someone has a Bugatti. The Ferrari is still fast, the Bugatti is just faster.Obvously EA did a crappy upscale port of the PS3 or 360 version on PS4. I will skip it because EA is lazy.

Agreed. The biggest drawback with Battlefield 3 for me was the framerate so I'm really excited to see how it plays at 60fps.You should be happy that it's finally 64 players and 60FPS on a console for once, that matters more.

Just hope, that it turns out to be good cause if anything I can stay with ps3 if next gen is lacking knockouts72
lol next gen will never be lacking, i do love the comments coming about at the moment, like the ps3 is this amazing piece of kit and next gen is only going to be a little above it, i love console launches there great.
at the end of the day which no one seems to realise is, next gen will be this gen in 2 years, everyone would of forgotten about the ps3 and the norm will be ps4/x1, the facts are every developer is moving on, and we have the ps4/x1 for the next 7years just embrace it, because your'll end up with one anyway
quite frankly, the full potential of the consoles are not harnessed up until the last few years of its generation, if we just think about all the things that are being done with a 256 mb ram powered console, namely the ps 3, along with its disadvantages over pcs, we can clearly see that the console systems are much more optimised... i reckon it would be impossible to pull off the games that we are playing with a seven year old pc... on another note, you can build a pc with all of the latest cpus, chipsets and multiple vga cards slap on another dedicated vga card just to use it as phys x or similar technology physics cpu / gpu... well, i do not know if one needs that much but if you want you can have a gold plated or solid gold computer case... :)MondasM
You have just hit the nail on the head right there with the wholeo the games at launch don't look that much better??? people are so shortsighted its untrue.Â
PS3 has only 256mb of ram to mess about with, and we get games like skyrim, the last of us, uncharted, beyond two souls, heavy rain. all with fantatic graphics i mean the water in uncharted is amazing, skyrim is just huge, the last of us graphics are just out of this world, beyond two souls seems to push it even more, heavy rains visuals were pretty impressive, and all that was being processed by just 256gb.
Next gen is coming there is no getting away from it, there is no questioning it, what ever comes out in november is what we will be playing on for the next 7years. 8gb of gddr5 ram is amazing, yes not all of it is going to be used, but graphics card at the moment don't use that much of ram esp 8gb of it, all i see at the moment is graphic cards having 2gb gddr5 ram and the pc systems themselves still run on ddr3.Â
i see that in the next 2 years we will see the leap in graphics we all crave, think if all them games got made using 256mb, what games are going to be like with using 3gb or more of gddr5 ram.Â
First of all, IGN has been creating a couple threads like this a day to try to fuel the console wars. If you look at the comments these articles get, it's indicative of the huge amount of traffic that's being generated. They're really just troll articles. IGN's comments sections allow for Up OR Down-voting and are much more inviting to trolls and flame wars than the Gamespot comment model.
The BF4 devs immediately tweeted in response to this article that the game was in alpha, and it would be much improved before it hit shelves.
Here's a more favorable review of the BF4/PS4 experience at Gamescom:

According to their team it is. You do realize that at crunch time the devs work 80-100 hours a week or more to polish these games.
The only thing I will judge graphically is the final version & I think it will be impressive just wait & see I know :)
This is also EA first game on PS4 so they still have some time to get the best of PS4 & it will take years

According to a dev, or according to the marketing department? Â And even if it's from a dev, it's undoubedtedly at the behest of the marketing department.
Â
Sorry, but, games require 2-3 weeks for discs to print. So it's not even 2 months, it's 1 month and a weel. That game might not ready for prime time, but most optimization is already done. What mgiht happen, is that the vertical slice people got to play at Gamescona nd elsewhere is from an older build, but by now, the game that the devs are working on, is probably very enarly done.
