Battlefield Bad Company 2 multiplayer servers Q?

hi, just wondering if this game has its own servers..
I mean, its own separate servers so the players don't have to host games themselves but the game hosts instead so
no one can get lag while playing, no matter what country you are from?

i'm not 100% on this but i would say so. because the game doesnt lag at all for me, and when i have played host games in he past you see a ton of lagg. also when i search for a game it go right into a game i have never not been able to find a game. and the games hit detection is right on. when i played uncharted 2 i would try to snipe someone and it would take a coulpe of shots for a headshot. untouchables111

They do have their own servers and they are today, the 13th and I think the 14th sunday are added new servers and hardware to improve things. since the old servers are getting overloaded. I haven't ever seen any lag and the shooting is the best I seen in any FPS.
