Battlefield BC2 Beta OVER!! Your Final Thoughts and Impressions???

Ahh, Just found out the Beta for BC2 was closed! The demo was amazing in my opinion. I was hooked on MW2 until i played BC2, and in my opinion BC2 excels on what MW2 has to offer overall, but, BC2 is a lot more difficult. What did you guys think of the beta??

Great game and also getting it but I hope Dice will keep updating it because people will find bugs and exploits.. but I know that Dice won't care to update that much..Spy_106

i thougt it was excellent; one of the first shooters i've played where you actually have to use the mil dots in your sniper. and personally i don't see anything wrong with the aiming as i keep hearing people say. of course there were some bugs but nothing huge that'll detract from making it extremely fun

dang! i thought it was gonna end next monday..? i took a break from playin it and just started it up again yesterday. oh well, i enjoyed it and am definitely looking forward to the final build.

it should have had inverted x-axis controls. i didn't play for over an hour because of that. such a stupid thing not to include. i'm getting it for PC anyway, but it should have that feature in it regardless.

it was good, but i really did not like the map they chose.

I preordered it the day I got the Beta. Absolutely loved it.

IMO, it sucked. I felt like it should have had a less clunky feel and a smaller scale or a clunkier feel on a larger scale. Doesn't make much sense, I know, but aiming just didn't feel right.JK731

aiming was great, its actually good. Not like the arcady MW2.


what i thought about the beta:

amazing, need to make some sniper rifles easier to kill with and unlocking scopes, etc should be done faster.

OVerall i like it more than mw2( and thats just the demo lol)

only one problem i had was the: spawn camping at the last crate. Man i died soooo many times. THEY REALLLY NEED TO FIX THIS>!!!

Well, naturally since I am a HUGE fan of the Battlefield series, it was great. It was way better than MAG, and beats out good old Bad Company the first. I was really upset and actually had a few strong words when I tried to join, only to read below the beta was closed. It was the hardest delete I ever had to make. But, I can't wait until the demo comes out in January.

No, that was what they were trying to push for, but apperently DICE got all the data and bug fixes they need. The demo comes out in January, and then keeps going forever as that is the official demo.

Ok thats a load of bulls**t! The MAG Beta and BFBC2 betas are both great but they are two completely different games you cant compare them MAG is Tactical and BFBC2 is just a deathmatch!

I could of tried the beta but I know I wouldn't end up buying it so I just played MW2. I don't really want to play 2 first person shooters at the same time unless they are completely different. Which is why I will be getting Alien vs Predator, but also because im a huge fan and it looks awesome. Anyhow, I was just wondering, how did those who participated find the game? JordanKid

edit: - about the graphics - i do not think that it is an easy task to create fully destructible 3d environments with crisp graphics with the technology at hand, the buildings are not fixed objects where you can paste hi-res textures, since they can be blown up to smitherens... imo the first bf: bc rocked, this one already is much better... yay for huge maps and full destructibility... :D

WTF?! And i didnt get to play it? Anybody know if there is going to be a public beta before launch? Or maybe even a single player demo out on psn so i can see the apparantly amazing graphics for myself?
