I will never accept HD downloads... how the hell i'm going to watch them on my HD TV when I have the movie downloaded on my PC harddrive... I don't have that kind of luxurious accessories or what ever you needto transfer the movie to my tv.

Not just that, but bandwidth isn't so great atm for DL's of that magnitude. I'm not buying a T1 line just for movies, then buying a couple Terabyte HDD to house them. MS is trying to screw so many ppl on so many different fronts it's not even funny.

and i bet IF this ever happens and we all must get a T1 line, M$ will probably create their own internet service that offers "low price T1 lines"

You are kidding right? The people that would pay to download movies have much more than 56k... Secondly for the people that don't have the streaming - hmm how about the ps3 / 360 having support for the format they choose...

I'm not paying 3-4 dollars every time I want to watch a particular movie only to download it to my harddrive and have it erase itself after 24-48 hours or whatever crap they implement. First of all, I have a 1080p set, so I want my movie to be 1080p video. Thanks Blu-ray, this is another place the M$ d'l service fails because these downloads will mostly be 720p. Plus, I want to have the disc in hand so I can watch it whenever I want, on any TV I want, even bring it to a friends house. Once Sony allows Blu-ray/dvds to be streamed over remote play, I think that will be a more desirable option than this d/l service. BTW, most cable companies already offer on-demand downloads to the cable box, but again, you have to watch it on that box, and it erases itself after 24 hours. No Thanks. I'll have my Star Wars and Indian Jones boxsets on 1080p blu-ray sitting on my entertainment stand next to my TV, thanks for trying though.

Digital downloads are still far off.. he said M$ is trying to cause confusion in the market until they perfect digital downloads.. they are just buying time by throwing money at companies to support Hd DVD. It makes me sick to my stomach. I like the xbox 360 but i hate what M$ is doing to the gaming industry.

First the 360 was a broken platform they have to fix, Vista is a broken OS that they have to fix.. All in the meantime its costing the consumer time and money to deal with.. M$ is an evil company who just waants money.. If M$ becomes the lead console developer we are going to see a huge slow down in game progression.

or death to gaming in general as many will just abandon it seeing as how MS has been in the business of PC's for a very long time but still to this day cant get an OS right on the first try and now they bring a console to this world

We are already seeing a slowdown in game progression, why do games like Uncharted and Mass Effect which try new things, get overshwadowed by something as generic as Halo 3. I can't speak specificaly for ME but I know that UDF does things diffrently than I have ever experienced, yet Bungie broke the bank with a game I got bored of in about a week. And if their was ever any proof that M$ is invested in ruining Blu-Ray, when I bought a PS3 game from cuircuit city this guy gets huffy and yells at me that Blu-Ray won't win the the format war because I explained that I don't want to trade in my PS3 for a 360.
