Are the bayonetta glitches on ps3 worth buying another set of cables (lost them somewhere when i last moved 5 months ago) for my 360 or will it be fine on Ps3 (which i do prefer the controller, interface, and trophies for)

Is it anything game breaking or is it just some framerate glitches and load times?

Well, the framerate problems on the PS3 version are what's keeping me from buying it on PS3, even though I prefer the DS3

This i prefer my ps3 but since its a "Frame rate" issue i will be getting the 360 verison. I could careless about graphics frame rate on the other hand bothers the hell out of me.

Graphics and framerates are the same thing, frame rate falls under overall graphics performance.

I imported the PS3 version and finished it back in November. The only problem that really stuck out was the load times. The good thing though is that between levels, you can practice Bayonetta's combos in the load screen, so it made it a lot more tolerable. I don't even remember having framerate problems.

The PS3 controller is much better suited for this kind of game, so it's kind of a trade-off for me. I'll eventually get the 360 version to compare when it goes down in price, but the PS3 version is in no way unplayable.

Frame rate effects me because my eyes can catch the slightest drop, i guess i was the only one to notice MGS4 fall below 30 frames? Just something that doesnt effect some people, the reason why im hoping splinter cell conviction is lock on 30 then trying to push 60.

Well most of the game these days seem to have framerate issues and it doesn't really bother me... and as long as i have something to screw around with in the load times i don't think i'll have a problem with that either... plus i'll have to buy a new AC adaptor for my 360 if i want to start that old thing up again... PS3 is probably better as i have no friends on 360 anyway..

I won't be buying it anytime soon now because of the problems. I was excited to play this game but when you throw out crap on one system then you won't be getting anymore than $20 from me. I'll wait for a patch before I even consider it.

For me, graphics and framerate are not the same thing.

A game could have less than stellar graphics but a fantastic framerate and I wouldn't care THAT much because everything would be so fluid. A game that has a terrible framerate (unstable) but fantastic graphics is unplayable for me because of how choppy the game will be with the unstableness.

Darksider looks like crap... the main characters looks like a mystery bag of different body parts from other franchises all thrown together.. Dante's Inferno and Bayonetta are probably gonna be the only 2 hack/slash i get this year (and maybe GOW3 depending on how cheap the CE is)

framerate belongs in graphics. when a game has technically proficient graphics, its a game with great looking graphics (NOT artistical, but TECHNICAL) which also manages to mantain proper phisics AND framerate

Well... this is a single player only game, so friend's shouldn't factor in to the decision of which version to purchase

You have options, so I would strongly suggest buying the other version, which is obviously superior.

I could say the same thing about bayonetta. Why do I want to play a DMC rip off>? The only difference is that the main character is dressed like some slut.

See how I did that?

exactly! and you may say that DI is a gow ripoff but at least they are from different creators, bayonetta and DMC are from the same creator...so the idiot couldn't come up with anything new and had to create a DMC rip off with a horrible main char. btw, darksider protagonist looks like arthas when he got possesed :)

its not as bad, that it will ruin ur experience, but yea there is a bit of a loadin issue, and some frame rate here adn there, but overall its a fun game and im havin so much fun that those things dont even matter to me anymore.........but if u do own a 360 and a ps3, go with 360 cuz its the better version but if u have ps3 then get it for that either way its a good game, despite the lil things it has like i mentioend load times and some frame rate

If you have both consoles get the 360 version. I know the problems with framerate and loading times can be a problem but overall its still a decent title.

Were the graphics blurry and not sharp in the cutscenes of the demo for you guys? For some reason they were for me while in-game was normal.

You do realize Darksiders has gotten lower scores, but continue to claim it's the "better" game as if fact right? If Bayonetta is garbage then I can only imagine what Darksiders must be considering the lower scores.

9.5 > 7.8

Heck, 8.2 > 7.8 lulz, the PS3 version of Bayonetta scored better than Darksiders.

Well in this case, he made a thread about wether it's worth spending extra money for a set of cables for his 360 or just get the PS3 version, sounds like he is interested in this game and not the other game. lol

Some people personally feel the sky is red and grass is black, and they are welcome to have that opinion, but they are still wrong. Elements within the graphics directly affect the framerate, tons of stuff at very high detail happening = frame rate drops. Not a ton of stuff happening at less detail = no frame rate drop. Balancing the two can be tough, and that's because they are directly intertwined. Bad framerates are recognized as a flaw in the graphics, great framerates are recognized as part of why some games have great graphics. You have the right to keep feeling the way you do, of course, but we have the right to keep pointing out that you are wrong.

I'm in chapter 11 now on the PS3 version and the only thing that is really noticeable is the loading times. I think I had my FPS dip down once in a fight but I don't even know that it was actually an FPS drop.

if you can get it on the 360, get it on the 360. However, I rate the ps3 version a 10/10 because the game does exactly as it intended and I love it!

Bought the regular edition on the PS3 (we didn't get the CE where i live, plus CE's just end up laying around collecting dust anyway unless they come with a guide or in-game content anyway) thanks for the input everyone..

If you only have a PS3, yes. If you can get it on your other console, that's where you should get it for.
