No its probably not worth the cash unless you're really into DLC. I just bought them to try it out, but it was a disappointment. Basically its like Conquest where you and your squad have to capture points except instead of human players its endless waves of spawning enemies. Waste of money in my opinion - I beat all four maps on hardcore mode within two hours.
Not worth it. I just completed that mode with my friends. Shared the DLC with them, that EA/Dice would get minimum money from me for that so called DLC. You download 100kb file(I wish Dice was really so efficient :D ), which unlocks the content already in the disc. Stupid thing is, that content is not even finished. In one map, when we captured the flag, the commentator, said: Both objectives finished, let's move out to the next one. What objectives Dice? there was one flag, not two, and it was flags not objectives. 4maps. very nice maps, but so boring after you finish them. At hard core mode, enemies are seeing you through the wall, and tanks are shooting like snipers with their gear. Rockets are flying to the sky, but somehow you get hit and killed. If you do not shoot a gun, enemies will not see you. Once you shoot a gun(even with silencer from hidden place) every stupid enemy turns to you. Does not matter if i kill the guy which I fired upon 1st silently with headshot. Medics are attacking tanks with their machine guns :D Engineers are shooting nothing but rocket launchers. Endless ammo for them, but when you kill them, their guns only have half a clip left :D After 1st play, you already know what will happen next time. where all the enemy vehicles will come from. map rotation is dreadful. You know I always laughed at CoD crowd but, if you compare MW2 co op mode(Special ops), their mode is like in different league. Like MW2 special ops is Man United and BC2 Onslaught is some Barking local kids team. and i don't exaggerate. They gave us 8 trophies. There is no insignias. I would be less mad if they gave us 8 harder insignias and medals to chase around. That would keep me going for a while. but no. Couldn't add them. So this is complete fail. Back to the Rush, chasing level 50 and waiting perhaps some day they will eventually fix that stupid Bronze star insignia bug :( shame on you Dice :(

I loved the BFBC2 demo, and I loved the early multiplayer after its release. But they've just turned a great game into crap. EA will not receive any money from me regarding online gaming again. Solo play, fine. Anything that relies on their servers/business approach, they can go **** themselves.

I am with Dice since their BF2. Brilliant game, bugged as hell. It saddens me when they release such things and charge money for that. Even pushing DLC content through patch to everyone even to those, who will never buy it is disgrace. A lot of people have limited internet plans, and downloading bug fixing(or so they say) patch which weighs couple of gigs is not very respectful of your customers.

Ok, so its on the disc not DLC. THe last big patch added it, it was never on the disc, until the patch was added, so there for your unlock it . Technically he is still right. It was on the disc and we had to pay to unlock it.
To be honest its not that bad really. It wasnt on the disc as everyone had to download it via latest patch. Its a lot of fun with friends.tommyas
it's fun with friends, but not $10 extra fun ... it's something that should have been included in the first place. I love this game, but this was a waste of $10
As much as I would like to get it, I'm still pissed about that whole Dr. Pepper promotion that was going on and only gave out free stuff to the 360 and make us pay $5.50 if we want the exact same stuff. Plus they originally weren't going to charge for any DLC and now that's all they do. I had my fun with BC2. I think I'm about to move on...

I got the SPECACT stuff for free on PSN. All I had to do was call and complain to EA about some non existing problem. It felt good to stick it to them for once.
I have lots of friends who also have Onslaught mode and we play together, we all find it fun and to me and my friends, it was well worth it. I guess it can either be a huge disappointment or it can be worth it and fun, luckily for me it was the second one.

And THAT'S the part that pisses me off the most! I saw people in the camo suits running around before they even hit the PSN store and I was talking to one of the guys that had it and he said the exact same thing. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome you got it for free, but it's just sooooo lame that if you **** enough they'll give it to you for free and if you keep your mouth shut you have to pony up $5.50 for a stupid skin change.
They SHOULD have just made the Dr. Pepper promotion available on the PS3 as well. Since then I've kinda just stopped playing BC2 because I'm pissed at them :evil:
Yeah and no.Its really fun on hardcore if you can find the right squad to play it with, but you might only play it a few times cause most of the time im not in the mood to play it.
