I'll be buying Fallout 3 once they fix the majority of the glitches... which just so happens to be coming along with the trophy patch as well... americahellyeahyoure really gullible eh? Ive put in many hours into Fallout3, and I havent had ONE single glitch. The remedy is just playing offline. Why do you even need to be online for this game, its only offline? Just like with GTA4,, i could see myself coming back to game (im still far from done it),, but i doubt ill do many side quests and prob wont be able to get too many trophies. My guess is that trophy patch will be released same time as DLC for 360, to try and ease the pain a little haha

The point is that you shouldn't have to play offline.

It's pretty well known there are a few minor glitches with the PS3 version. (It's not flawless) I own it and have put in about 20 hours so far. For the most part I have experienced hardly any glitches. (I avoid the game game freeze by playing offline) Although I have encountered a few minor ones- sometimes during a VATS encounter the enemies body will dissapear except for their head, and other times the game will freeze (even when I'm offline).
By no means am I saying the game sucks and these things happen all the time. They actually only happened a few times during the 20 hours I've put in, but they are there. IMO they aren't enough to avoid playing the game though, and any one considering Fallout 3 shouldn't wait for a patch to fix these minor glitches. The game is very playable and quite fun.
