I recently got resistance: fall of man and I recently beat the game on medium. And I had a ton of fun with it except until the end. I felt that beating the game wasn't very satisfying at all. Anyone agree? Right now, I've started playing the campgain mode on hard and I'm having a great deal of fun with it but I'm sure I won't feel very satisfied beating it... (Actually I might but only because it's on hard)

eh, the ending was ok.  I wish there was a huge boss that you had to kill though, i think that wouldve been more fun.

Personally I found the ending perfect. It shows Insomniac wants to bring this into a big time series. By not making the ending to the first game unbelievably epic, it leaves many options open for the storyline throughout the franchise. The game itself, especially online, is easily satisfying, and leaves room for an even better sequel.

It was fun dude...the game's single player is the best to be had on a console period. (anyone care to dispute it please do cuz I own every next gen console FPS) That said I agree the ending was OK but not something that changes lives lol! I dunno man, I think the fun in this game is to be had in the combat itself and not so much the story arch (though I personally loved it) Whatever floats your boat man!

Oh I disagree. I thought the last level where.......[spoiler] ......... you have to kill the reactor with the building collapsing and bad dudes all over the place was intense. Plus it was kind of a different feeling being in the building as it falls, and then the scene shifts to someone who doesn't know what happened in there.

To be honest? The whole "last boss" thing is becoming extremely dated, and I'm glad Resistance didn't do it. I'd rather have an intense final fight, than a "last boss" battle. It's tiresome, and needs to die.

Exactamundo!!!!!  It could have been better, I really did think.  But It wasn't bad.  If they had no plans in a sequal, than it would have made no sense, but since there is, it's all good.  THEY BETTER start off RIGHT from that ending spot.  Would be so hot.  He just turns on everyone and goes ballistic.  OK OK I have a new question which I don't want to make a thread for, so I'll steal yours :P anyway, what's the possibility of playing as Nathan Hale again?  it looks like he's reached the breaking point of changing fully at the end.  Will we still control him and just gain more Chimeran powers over time in the next one (besides just regeneration)  or what?  Or will he be the main problem, as he brought back the chimera on his own?  I've been wondering this ever since I beat the game.

yeah, i was disappointed with the ending as well. also, i wish hale would talk more, talk like he's doing in the last cutscene, the one called stranger than fission. its weird you dont get to see that one in the real game.

Wow, well, I guess more than half of you disagree. Your comments have somewhat helped in giving me a greater appreciation for the ending...

I beat it on hard over a span of two days, and I have to say...I was so wiped out from how intense the ending was because of its chaotic nature and no single big boss. With a lot of single big bosses, there is one trick to beating them that you can do over and over again. That's no fun. The end of a war should be a final surge.

I thought they set up the end so they could easily make the start of the next game's story. I was happy I beat it... took me forever because I always play online. :)

I don't find the game in general satisfying. I only played through half the game and haven't played it in like 2 months. I do want to finish the game, but just am not motivated to do so.

I thought the single player was good. But online is what makes the game so great.

I just wanted to know what's next and got out my credit card and BANG Insomniac won! j/k - though I admit I'll buy the new content the day it comes out. PS - the dancing Mal avatar is cool up there.

I haven't gamed in a long time before the PS3 and I was not used to the no boss ending. But resistance was great and I felt good when I beat it. Call of Duty 3 however, same thing no boss, but I played that right after Resistance and I felt like it didn't match up with Resistance at all. COD3 was just not enjoyable to me and at the end with the *Spoiler alert* tank blasting ending I was a bit dissappointed.

The intensity of COD3 is no where close to that of Resistance. ::SPOILER:: And yea I completely agree with the ending idea of COD3 with the fact that its the final charge of whats left of the enemy. But for a final charge...it felt kinda weak lol.
