Best 425 pounds I've spent!!

And for anyone who cares here's why! Graphically the 4 games I've played have been MILES better than the 'other' console and far more playable. Even so that my wife can play AND get into the games, Motorstorm and RR 7. Not having to pay for a live account, which incidently works perfectly without ANY lag issues, being able to use my current bluetooth headset and keyboard, Blu-Ray DVD's looking f**king amazing with my HDTV, for being quiet and not runing at supernova heat, internet browser and contributing to the Stanford Project!! I loved the PSOne and 2 and for all the BAD hype the PS3 is a brilliant console and WELL worth the asking price. Not going to bash my 360 but if you want a console that doesn't cut any corners and has BAGS of potential then the PS3 is DEF for you! When I compare my 'other next gen console' and what I've spent on Live accounts, Battery packs, Video camera, wireless adaptor and wireless headset, but no HD-DVD player thankfully, no HDMI output and the noise! etc, I'm feeling a little ripped off by MS. I dread to think what the PS3 will produce! The short comings of the 'other ' console are now very clear to see, Still a good machine tho! Hopwever the PS3 is clearly better monster!!

After months of reading people bash the ps2 on forums everywhere. i finally got one today!. nothing went wrong everything went on perfect. cool online mode.(lag free) been playing RESISTANCE ALL DAY lol. i must say it was worth it.:Dademike

Let me point out most of the accessories you got on xbox360 are unnecessary, so if you're talking core packages it's still a great deal. Every console has positives and negatives. And you do sound like a fanboy.MartinRiggs15

Honestly I'm not a fanboy and the only access I think I didn;t really need is the camera. for out of the box goodies the PS3 is a better console as you can utilise any current hardware you may have not HAVE to buy licensed products only. In this case I do so it saved me a LOT of money
