Best experience at Gamestop!!

In need of a 2nd PS3 (my 7 year old took over my 60GB) I walked into Gamestop with my old 1st gen PS2 and a handful of crusty old games. In all they gave me nearly $100 in store credit so I got the 80 gig, the cables, an extra controler, and a remote for $540 after tax... not only did all that work out, they even gave me store credit for Motorstorm which I already had. And, not once did some fanboy try to talk me out of it. In fact, 2 out of the 3 employees I was talking to were BIG TIME Sony fans. Each had the system and were raving about the new games. So yeah, it's crazy that I had to buy a 2nd PS3. That's what divorce does to you kids. LOL! Seriously, I'm letting my son take my 60 GB. He'll have a PS3 at both houses now and I'm not missing out.

I'm glad to hear that, most people that post in here about bad experienced with Gamestop, EB Games or other similar gaming stores try to provoke system wars arguments in their favor.

I know for sure that sometimes you get into a argument with local sale personal. I have experienced it myself, but it's rare. For the last few years I had a great time and didn't find any issues.

Sometimes of course happens, but never forget that you're a buyer and your words are the law for the store Manager.

Last time I went to GS, I asked for a rock band for an 8 year old. After being talked out of it for ten minutes, the guy finally comes with the box from in back and pratically throws in on the ground at my feet. Then telling me all the boxes have dents and holes on them!!!!

I freaking grabbed the kid and put him in his place. While his 3 other buddies working there just stared and walked away slowly. I just grabbed the kid and yelled, but those little f*ckers were scared

Dude, i gave them crap games... star wars legos for the ps2... i have it for ps3... Smackdown, call of duty 3, old crap that I didn't want.
