GET LBP. Get it. Just get it. I got it today, my girlfriend ordered it for me for my birthday. We were just playing it together for about an hour and a half, and the only reason we stopped is because I have to work. We were both laughing so hard and having so much fun. It truly can be enjoyed by everyone I think. As a hardcore gamer, I find it amazing. The graphics are beautiful, the physics are spectacular, and it is so much fun using the six-axis to move your head and hips, and moving your hands and creating emotions, it is something so "human" that has never been done quite like this in a game. And I haven't even tried the creator. I can't wait.

I would go with LBP all i have heard about it are good things. If you want a cheaper game then i wouldnt pick LBP as it just came out and is going to be a bit pricey. I would say maybe a simple racing game. Also ask what she would like. Explain what each game is about and ensure her that the controls are simple :-D.( Most girls dont play games) unless shes a hardcore gaming girl :). Hope i gave you some good advice.
