well, oddworld is good but it's not "purely FPS" . resistance you could check the demo it's an ok game. I personally would wait for killzone unless I get resistance for maybe 15 dollars.

Well, I guess my opinion isn't very valuable since I've only played Resistance out of those (though I just rented Call of Duty but havn't played it yet). But it was decent, very playable and all. But it was short and probably not worth a full purchase unless you're into online multiplayer.
Stranger's Wrath is great but I haven't played any of the others so can't really say it's best. From what I've seen/heard, Unit 13 is the only other one I might get.
It sounds like the Vita hasn't really found its killer FPS game yet. Personally I'd prefer one with more of a story, like the Halo or Metroid Prime games, but some decent multiplayer would be great too.
It would be nice if they made something more original. I remember on the GCN years ago there was this game called Geist where you played as this ghost who possessed other characters to use their abilities - like soldiers carried guns, and scientists could operate machines, and stuff like that. The game really kind of sucked, but it was an original concept. I can't say that about most FPS games these days.
Otherwise... A FP fantasy game or something would be cool.
so I got Unit 13 on PSN for $12. I like the gunplay, but the AI is dumb as heck in the beggining, and The psuedo stealth style can be meh at times. But its good for $10 :P
