Best Game Of 2008 !!!

Ok, so what are your thoughts on the best game of 2008?

I voted MGS4, it looks stunning and MGS3 was my favourite PS2 game, followed by GTA: SA.

If i would vote again, I would pick GTA IV then Haze for its online Co-op, but only one vote per member, so make it a wise one.

gta 4, atleast i hope it will be one of the best games next year.

MGS4 Handsdown. it might be better then Mario Galaxy and probably competing against Halo and Crysis.

Well rumours (according to EGM) say that God of War 3 might see a 2008 release. So I'm putting my money there :)

That list is quite poor. So many other games should be there, Little Big Planet, FFXIII, GT5 (if we're lucky) White Knight and probably others. Man games are coming out in 08stefanlek

I will confidently name Grand Theft Auto IV my favorite game of 2008.

Rockstar knows how important GTA's entry into this generation of consoles is, and I have no doubt that, not only will they deliver, but they will shatter expectations. The only thing I'm really waiting to hear about this game is in regards to the online. While I'm a hardcore single player gamer, the idea of being able to run around the streets with a buddy causing all sorts of chaos is very appealing, and I'm hoping that we get a great online component.

i never liked the mgs series, i bought 2 and 3(subsistence) and just couldn't get into it this will be the first time im not gonna buy it. haze doesn't interest me at all and while i know that gta will be good i think since vice city they have only been good and really haven't done much new to the series.

that is why i voted for the game i think best meets the criteria for a true next gen experience, Little Big Planet. i do not think we've seen anything like this on a console or computer it looks fun and refreshing. and im so proud that sony is helping publish such a unique game (though this is all based on my opinion of what they've shown of the game so far)

I'm not even sure if that will be released in 2008. With the way FFX and FFXII went, I'd say early 2009.

From that list, i would say MGS4. But i picked "other" because i highly doubt that those games are the only games coming out in 08. so for now, i'll have to wait and seezeforgotten

I'm with MGS4

and UT3 is going to release on Dec. 12th this year, so technically it's not a 2008 game

Any poll or thread comparing MGS4 to any other game has the same result, MGS4 dominates the votes but 50% or more. The game is gettin the hype it needs.

yeah definitely though, it deserves it. Finally a game that used up the true power of blu ray. The graphics look better than any other game ive seen, gameplay likewise. I'm glad it isn't ported, like GTA4, so that blu ray technology can finally shine. MGS3 was my all time favourite game on PS2, followed by GTA: SA.

Perhaps here, things will be different...... with MGS4 on the way
