I do like the Auger, but for real-life encounters I'd go with the M1014 Shotgun. It's not spectacular but it gets the job done:)

....As far as Fake Guns, I'd go with the Hammer of Dawn or Gravity Gun.

I somewhat agree with this. this gun has MUSIC that plays while you're blasting away your enemies! The music is epic and comedic at the same time, haha, just youtube it!

I'd have to go with Lincoln's Repeater from Fallout 3. There's nothing particularly special about it, but I find it really entertaining to use.
