Lets see, You have to watch out for some brands tho beacuse some are just awful even tho it looks like a good deal. You could try Olivia, I heard some good things about them and I think they have something for what your looking for. Thats about it as far as I kno, If you want a more well known brand it would cost you extra for the size your looking for. My friend has a smaller Samsung and only real diffrence is that its smaller, picture looks just as good as some bigger tv's out there.
[QUOTE="m0ney78"]Have you checked out the Samsung S2341W? it sells in some places for $480 it does 720p/1080ilibero21
thanks, that one looks good, but do u think it would be a little small to play games on or just rite?

It's just right if you plan on playing somewhere between 3 to 9 feet away. It's a decent size, but obviously a larger size is more than welcome. Definitely more of a kitchen/bedroom/office tv ofcourse. plus its only 3 inches away from what you wanted with the quality of a Samsung one of the top TV makers in the biz.Â

2.6ft is actually the recommended distance for a tv of that size. Â

Yeah, I agree. Olevia is the strongest "Bargain" brand out there. Rated very high in consumer reports. I have a 32 inch Olevia I got for about $550.  It's solid for the price. Definitely increases the value of your PS3 compared to SDTV
1080i would be nice and something around 26" for my bedroom, ive seen good offers like this but with contrast ratios of 800:1 and im not sure if that is goodlibero21
No that is not a good ratio My Sony SXRD LCOS (LCD) has 10,000:1Â and 2 ms although it is a 50" I have a 17" LG LCD with 2,000:1 and 4ms. smaller LCD may not need so much contrast.
Check this Haeir, I have 1 and my freind's 360 shows pretty good.Â
