MGS1 hands down, was my first and favorite game of all time on PS1......but on ps3 its MGS4 lol just cuz the graphics were better and more things u can do and all the pretty cut-scenes and u know wat im talkin about lol but in order id say MGS4, MGS1, MGS3, MGS2
This is like forcing a parent to pick their favorite child lol. I might just say MGS4 cause it controlled the best. MGS3 was also very enjoyable. So was 2 and 1...
The whole saga is without a doubt freakin' amazing but one would always be unique, MGS1. MGS4 however is the next MGS1, a game that you will be enjoying for years. I got MGS1 back when it first got released and kept playing for the past decade. Last year I played it twice on my PS3. I think MGS4 with its HIGH replayibility will be the next MGS1.
Yeah me too. Its amazing that I see on a few topics, posters say MGS2 is way better than MGS4 but here MGS2 doesnt even get a vote. I hated MGS2 and only played it once compared to the other MGS games.
I voted for 4, but I'm surprised no one has gone for 2. I recently replayed that game, and I found it to be the most enjoyable title... up until the latest masterpiece, that is.
MGS4 was the only one I ended up finishing so that's obviously my favorite. I quit MGS2 after Raiden came in... the first half was amazing to me, but then they went and screwed it up with that cyborg-ninja-pansy. So I'd put MGS3 in between them, though I didn't get very far in it... it just seemed cooler to me. I didn't play MGS1 except for a little piece of the VR missions... I opted instead to play Final Fantasy VII a million times when I had a PS1... only stopping to play Puzzle Fighter and Buster Bros Collection.
Reason why MGS3 was at the bottom was cause of the camo system, it was nice and unique, but was very annoying to keep changing camos ever time you move, especially when the menu isn't very quick to load.
MGS4 = MGS1 Cause MGS4 perfected the stealth gameplay system and MGS1 was such a great game at its time, as well as my first MGS game.
MGS2 is in the middle cause simply; it was an excellent game, gameplay wise.
I found MGS3 different and extremely challenging compared to the others. In addition, the ending is really satisfying and made me feel like it was well worth going through the game to get to the end.
