Motorstorm: Pacific Rift is violent, you run over dismounted drivers for the fun of it. Burnout Paradise is a good choice.
Little Big Planet is the best non-violent game that I could think of, if fact, it's a lot funner than some games that are violent. And if they have the internet (and most people do these days) that will give anybody with a good taste in games at least 40 extra hours.
I never did like racing games but Motorstorm is more violent than some other ones. GT5: Prologe has great graphics but overall Burnout's better.
Ratchet and Clank Future isn't that bad. Sure you blow up aliens and stuff but it's still fun and feels like a Pixar movie.
Rock Band is fairly good, but rythme isn't my style of gaming. Stay away from GH unless they have a PS2, because GH1 and GH2 are good but the rest suck, BAD. I can't believe those games are rated T though. Come on ESRB! What's your problem?
There's Bolt, but that's not a good game at all IMO.
Unless they're really young Mercenaries 2 is the least violent shooter I know.
Get them a $20PSN card and they can get the original Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. Or even better...Fat Princess.
If all else fails, give them Dead Space!

They are both in english. Afrika is supposed to be released in America but due to absolutely no violence probibly won't sell well. Another would be Katamari Tribute which is out here in America I think in October.
i saw that he had some racing games like motor storm and gran turismo so im just gonna get burnout paradise, hes also a trophy monger
[QUOTE="Rhen_Var"]Fat Prince- oh wait. InFamous, a bit... Naru- oh right, that game sucks. Perso- suggestive, right... Bad Company! Well, at least there's no blood =/zspec562In fat princess you can turn blood and gore off. I guess it is still kinda violent as they are fighting, but at least it won't be bloody.
But they say nasty things like "Who's your daddy" :?
[QUOTE="macho_c_a"]ratchet and clank, its non violent and its tons of funMcMJ3Fo sho. Shooting the hell outa aliens and whatnot isn't violent. I only say this because your post seemed completely serious, unlike the users who put Manhunt and Fallout 3:P
WUT KIND OF NOOB WOULD PUT MANHUNT?
ratchet and clank, its non violent and its tons of funmacho_c_a
Animated violence is still violence.
LBP is a good choice, racing/sports games might also be good genres to look through (MLB 09 The Show). How about rhythme games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
Or get him a PSN card for Flower, Wipeout HD, the recently released Shatter.
Little Big Planet, Ratchet & clank, Racing games, sports games & of course pixar and disney movie games lol
Little Big Planet.3aNkabot
Yeah that's pretty much the 1st game that came to my mind when I saw this topic. You cant go wrong with LBP, all the awesomeness but none of the violence, plus it has tons of replay value with all the user created content. 1 million+ I believe.
