My PS3 Slim has the YLOD and I would like to hear some recommendations.

What I want:

- UK service

- High value:cost ratio

- Preferably no HDD data loss, but this is not essential

Thank you.

Are refurbished PS3s really bad enough to cost more in the long-run?

Say I could get it repaired and get a 4-year warranty for around £100. Don't you think this would be preferable to spending around £200 to get a new PS3 that only comes with a 1-year warranty?

Or are refurbished PS3s really that bad?

I always refer a new one better,I hate refurbished stuff especially ps3.

u can get one of therefurbishedbut u may face a problem each 6 months
