I think the people who say R6 Vegas havent played GRAW yet. And dont judge the game from its demo (not even close that level in the game). On topic: GRAW or R:FOM. Warhawk and HS will be must gets as well. If you get Warhawkon Tuesdayyou wont get owned so bad in the future.
It depends on what you want: shooter hands down resistance since the campaign and on-line are awesome. and for a 1player game Oblivion all the way, but wait for the "game of the year edition" in September, it has all the expansions included!
Depends on how you will use your PS3. GRAW2 is the best tactical shooter for both online and off. Resistance is also good but online is a bit unrealistic to me. Sigma is a good action game. Rainbow 6 is a decent tactical shooter but not as smooth as GRAW2.

I think either Resistance: Fall of Man, Oblivion (probably my favourite, but not so good on PS3 as it is on XB360 or PC due to lack of downloads over the store. Still an excellent game though) or The Darkness. But Rainbow 6 Vegas looks good.

True, there are better FPS games out there, notably Half Life 2 and the upcoming Crysis that must surely be awesome! But Resistance has pretty cool weapons, mean monsters, and a pretty good story once you understand it and tied all the loose ends together. I think the reviews were made before they even understood the story... anyways, just my 2 cents.
Get Oblivion GOTY. Its your best bet. Resistance second choice, because its a great FPS. Vegas, Sigma or Warhawk third.coolguy681
I'm waiting for that game, they pushed the release date back to early-mind Oct. Should I bother waiting or just get the one that is out now? Is the added expansion pack a big deal?

Rainbow Six is an excellent choice, that game is great. But imo the greatest game out for ps3 so far has got to be warhawk. That game is soo fun and addicting, makes you go back again and again.
belive it or not....LAIR. before you scoff at me think about it. What do we want in a PS3 game? Great visuals? LAIR supplys it with full 1080p. Do we want great audio? LAIR supplys it with uncompressed 7.1 surround sound. Do we want the SIXAXIS to be used in ways that lets us feel like we are more in the game? LAIR completes this with the sixaxis and dragon riding. Do we want complex gameplay with lots going on during the battle/race/etc? LAIR does this in flying colors, with its various enemies and mission objectives, or the way you need to get a gold medal.
I'd say so... For some reason I didn't think Resistance was extremely good. But I just can't put this game down! It's like I want to play it 24/7. It's just so intense with so many explosions and battles going on at once and so many roles you can play.
