I'm having a mess of boys in for a sleepover next weekend to celebrate my boy's 11th. We have a PS3 on hand, and I'm looking to borrow another one for the night, and rent any games we need. I'd like to find some games that would allow 8 boys to play at once -- 4 on each machine. It looks like Black Ops will do this, and that may well entertain them all night long. Are there are others? We have Madden NFL 10 -- can four local players play another four on another machine? Thanks!
lol black ops? really? i wont judge since its ur son and all......but for a 8 year olds? id go with racing game, or LBP2 which lets u play in alot of way.
I'm not sure about Madden since I hate the franchise, but little big planet would be great for a sleepover like that. Also, NHL 11 is pretty fun with a bunch of people playing, a little hectic, but still fun. I'd also recommend any wrestling game (WWE) if they are into that stuff since they are also a boatload of fun with a group. And the one you should get if they are pretty good at gaming or are quick learners is Warhawk; although it takes a little while to get the hang of, it is alot of fun with a bunch of people. Especially if they are all in the same room. Am I invited? Sounds like it would be alot of fun. hahaha
Yeah, I say Modnation Racers and Little Big Planet would be more appropriate games for that age group. However, if you feel comfortable with letting your little dude blow peoples faces off then by all means grab Black Ops.

To be honest I don't think kids will be patient enough to play creative games like that. Especially when there's many kids. They all like to contribute something, they don't like to be sitting around doing nothing.
