Best ps3 games for online multiplayer

Well just give me ur opinions on which games are best for online play... active, gameplay, overall....

so far i'm playing, uncharted 2, addicted to it...

is resistance 2 multiplayer still as active as before?

in my opinion, the call of duty series is good for multiplayer. if socom 4 wasn't such a ripoff of call of duty then i would suggest that too but zipper would rather make a ripoff of call of duty instead of sticking to what made socom so big in the first place

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It's very difficult, and an acquired taste, but it's such a unique MP experience...

Uncharted 2 and Bad Company 2 :)

Crysis 2, KIllzone 3, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. (soon to be Modern Warfare 3)

I'd say the COD games mainly MW2 (personally, I think they're rather bad, but a lot of people love them), battlefield bad company 2, mag (not as big, but I've had no problems getting into a match), KZ3 (i imagine KZ2 as well since not everyone has the funds to get the new one yet), and Borderlands (though it's basically all co-op). Resistance 2 probably has a decent community still, but I didn't really like the game and got bored halfway through). There are probably more games being played online that I just don't have. The only ones without active communities are games that are mainly made for singleplayer, like Bioshock 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Singularity, Dead Space, and you get the idea.

Badcompany 2 is crazy been playing that for hours...

yeah this i'll agree to...itz gotten way too arcady... it was gr8 when it first came out and MW brought some variation.... bt since then every COD game is practically the same game repeating itself...

Killzone 2 FTW. I wonder why noone has already mentioned it in this post.

Killzone 2 and Warhawk

uncharted, killzone, battlefield, call of duty, resistance 2, mag, brotherhood, gta iv, portal 2, mortal kombat, etc.

Socom 4 is great imo

My Favorites been Uncharted 2, it didn't start to get old for like 6 months of continuous play, until i had to put it down for a while, but its still very fun every now and then when my buddies are online.

Resistance 2 is almost dead now. The only way you can find a competitive match is by looking for unranked matches, which will provide no EXP for your character. And there's only about 2 or 3 full 60 player unranked matches anyway. I think co-op is still ok, though, but I wouldn't recommend getting the game now. Just wait for Resistance 3.

In my opinion, the best PS3 online shooter is Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but Battlefield 3 is almost out, so you might just want to get Black Ops or Killzone 3. Out of those 2, I'd say Black Ops.

Modern Warfare 2, Blackops and Hot Pursuit are my favorites

any of the call of duty games on ps3 ( even though ive only played mw2 and black ops, there fun, thoses are good for first person, for third peron i love uncharted 2, socom confrontation, socom 4, Mag is ok but gets boring really really fast, killzone 2 multiplayer was really boring the matches were too long, i only played the killzone 3 beta but it was alot better then killzone 2, i havent played my ps3 sense the first day ps3 went down ( like april 20th) but get black ops, or mw2, i want cod 4,
