So I saw Warhawk with headset for cheap. But I'm wondering if the headset is any good, how it compares to other PS3 headsets. What are the best PS3 headsets and why? How would you rank them.

I used the Warhawk headset for a while and it was fine. The PS headset with Socom though i find a little uncomfortable and a bit loose on my ear. The mic though is very good and is also has noise cancellation (most do now anyways i think) and is still a very good headset and the only one i use now.

Do they both use blutooth and come with chargers? How is battery life?

Yes both are blutooth though neither techincally have a charger since they are charged via small usb. The PS or SOCOM headset comes with a stand and is also the only way to get HQ on the headset. The warhawk is also basically just a regular jabra headset while the PS is a jawbone.

The official sony bluetooth headset comes with a dock. Which is pretty nice (though not entirely necessary). Alot of people complain that the official headset doesn't fit very well, but they don't know that you can mold the piece that attaches to your head so that it fits perfectly however you like it. Bottom line, get the Official Sony headset. They made it for a reason, for us gamers to buy and use for a long time.

I also have to say that the Official Sony headset is the way to go.

The headset that came with Warhawk is really good IMO. It was a great deal, and the headset is good enough for me.

I wouldnt rate the Metal Gear Solid 4 headset highly, it's reliable and easy to use, but it's hard to hear people through it even on full volume, so you have to have the sound through the speakers.

I really like my Motorola H12. Works great.

I really imagine nearly any bluetooth headset thats worth a crap would be good. I had a Jawbone set that worked good too.

The official PS one looks a little to uncokmfortable to me

What if I can get Warhawk with headset for $25, is that a better deal than getting the official Sony headset (price vs quality)?

Official Sony Bluetooth headset >>>>>>>>>> Warhawk Headset.

The Official headset has: High Quality sound (ie theres two mic's, one on the outside and one on the inside, the inside records your sound, while the outside one records ambient sounds and removes these from the sound being input on the inside mic, so that your voice is crystal clear), there's an easy access mute button, charging dock: which becomes a microphone will charging and its more sturdy and at least for me fits a lot better than the warhawk one.

I have the official PS3 headset. No complaints here. After a full charge, it lasts a long time. My buddies can hear me clearly & I can hear them clearly. The docking station works as a charging & a mic station. So if the battery is dying, just take it off your ears, put it in the docking station & talk to your friends while charging!

Wireless? Go with the official. Wired? I use a Logitech USB PS2 mic and its by far the best mic I have used. The warhawk one was small and cut out. My other bluetooth didn't have a long enough charge but a USB doesn't need charging.
