Hey everyone,

I have a surround sound system so I don't think I want a headset--whats the best mic I can use (or should I just get a headset and not use my surround sound?)?

Thanks!

i use the PS3 eye. its the ps3 version of the EYETOY camera. no need to recharge and it is a great mic. so you can leave your surround sound on.

... although the mic will probably pick up the surround and annoy every other player, so its best to play with quality HDR headphones like me :)

I think its best to just get the Socom Headset. You only hear other people thru the headset, nothing else... And even that can be changed thru settings.

Most games only allow voice chat through the mics so I think you're safe to get a mic... I use a logitech surround sound and a Jabra headset and works fine.
