[QUOTE="mgools"]Is Metal Gear Solid 4 multiplayer any good?JetMoto6
I don't thinks MGO is that great. But seriously COD4!
Had COD4 for the Xbox 360. Didnt care for it too much. Game was great at 1st, but the rank up system stunk. Hated the rank up system. It is ok if you continue to play, but when you have a group of people rated 14 or less against 50+ the weapons are just to strong to overcome. Got frustrated trying to rank up as there is no even out system like there is in Halo where there seems to be ballancing. COD4 seemed to be the opposite....always put on teams with lesser ranked guys. But I can see how most would like the game, and the graphics and single player were greatness.

lol the weapons dont get much better dude xD. I am level like 44 and still use an m16 with red dot scope when i want to pwn...Everybody is going to say COD 4, which is pretty solid. But the focus on a revolving rank really gets boring and and has turned me away from the game. I'm currently really digging Metal Gear Online. But online games are a personal preference. What are you looking for?
Metal Gear Online is alright. From what i've found you need a really good Internet connection and killing people is a bit dodgy because you need to hit them heaps of times. It's a lot like GTA4 online, fun but only really an extra.
Online I have played Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 (haven't gone online with 2 yet, and might not), CoD4, GTAIV, MGO (the beta, not my retail copy yet), Warhawk, and NHL 08. I loved GTAIV but it's hard to find good players and my friends are more FPS kind of players. I like MGO beta but I was destroying as they grouped people with the same stats, so I was going up against newbies when I was playing too. I have logged over 14 days in CoD4 and have loved it. It makes a huge difference that you have a good number of friends on your list that you can play with too. Right now my vote is for CoD4 - though I have had many a good time in GTAIV I'm looking forward to SOCOM 3!Mujambo
so did u like the RB6 Vegas Online play? Personally I find it dissapointing. By far the worst online game along with nba 2k8
easily COD4
warhawk is bull, dont get it
just get COD4 and you'll be set for a while
evil_angel74
warhawk rocks. great community also
Onlinee its easily COD4, that game really is the best out! Pro Evo Soccer is always fun multiplayer offline and on.fhoeiuwhdousah
COD4 is a great game when it works. If you don't mind constant connection drops, host ended games, getting kicked back to lobby nearly ever other start up... sure, it's a great game. Again, let me be clear. When it works, it's freaking fantastic!!!! It just doens't work all that well most of the time. Too bad, IW had something pretty incredible. I'll still play for the time being but I'm waiting for Socom.
it depends on wat u want
if u want small games with maps size of ur backyard then go for COD4, if u like huge maps with vehicles go for BF:BC ,if u like tactical games in need of skills and team work go for MGO, if u want crappy Online go for R6V 2
i played all of them for alot of hours and honestly i cant choose a favourite, i just can tell u that the LEAST favourite is R6V 2. COD 4 is amazing with cool new features and a solid ranking system, but MGO needs skill and team work and CQC is really satisfying, however the intensity and size of BF:BC is truly exhilarating
